Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Air Lift Replacement Air Spring. Now, this unit replaces one hybrid spring in your Air Lift, Low Lift or 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Spring system for rear axles. The hybrid spring combines the adjustability of air springs with the reliability of jounce style springs, so the airbag reduces the strain on your rear suspension. It helps increase overall safety and compensates for uneven loads. Then, internally there's a jounce spring. That helps improve ride comfort, helps reduce sway, and helps with corning.
The jounce spring engages that lower air pressure to better absorb road shock and minimize bottoming out. It also provide support for progressively, so the more you load the springs, the stiffer they become and it lets you temporarily carry a load with zero air pressure in your springs.Now, this unit features a really nice quality construction for long-lasting spring life. It's a two-ply fabric-reinforced rubber air spring. That's very durable. They use the high string Zytel nylon endcaps.
They're lighter, stronger and more corrosion-resistant when compared to steel. Then, internally it uses a urethane internal jounce that requires no maintenance and it works really well in any temperature whether it's extremely hot or extremely cold or anywhere in between. Great product. Been very happy with these air springs. These springs are solid. Easy to replace if need to. I've replaced a couple of times--no fault of the product itself. Highly recommend.
