Easy to install both in under an hour. Provide good stability to small (boat) trailer when deployed. I can see the paint/powder will be as durable as they were as simple to install

One year later and still loving them. No regrets with this purchase. Easy install, easy use and quality product

by:

Bought these for my cargo trailer. Did not get around to installing them for several months. When I finally unpacked them, the “foot” of one came off while I was unwrapping them. I had to drill holes and add a few screws to reattach. There was no damage to the box. They still serve their purpose, just disappointing.

by:

An excellent designed product! I used them to replace the jacks that originally came on my small travel trailer. I was able to mount the jacks into the existing holes of the old jacks (no new drilling!). Their operation is much easier than the original jacks, just pull them down, and slide out! The only tool required is the adjustment bar that is sold separately. The reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is that the metal they are made out of is thinner than expected, and the welds on the base plates are just 2 small tack welds. So we will see how long it holds up after extended use

It’s been a year and they are working well, granted I only use the trailer a few weeks per year.

by:

The black paint is the thinnest! Looks well made and works great though. Testing them out this weekend. The pads were too big to fit under our rear bumper. I trimmed them with an angle grinder and gave them a good coat of rustoleum. Problems solved.

In the first year of using these jacks I must say they have served me well. Easy to use and very affordable. I just grab them and flip them down, use the metal rod to put them under a little tension and putting them up is even easier. Use my foot to release the tension and flip them back up and they lock right in. Easy peasy.

by:

Easy to install on Lance 1575 to replace original light weight marginal units. 3.5 ish inch bolt pattern luckily was the same as my originals. I wish they were a little beefier as the metal is quite thin and as others have mentioned, the spot welding is minimal. Good design though. Having read the reviews, I bought an extra to keep in the rig. I will be careful when setting up to prevent ant lateral movement.

Big improvement over the lightweight scissor jacks originally supplied with our 2017 Lance 1575.

Not knowing Wat to buy, Nothing Listed for a 3900lb travel trailer... I believe with certain CAUTIONS these will do better than the aluminum stands i have. Its the word "STABILILIZER" gives proper meaning to these...

Might be OKAY for a Popup camper Pretty light Duty but effective...

by:

Very handy and easy to install and use, but other reviewers are right: you may have to add a shim or spacer between the jack and the trailer frame/floor in order to get enough clearance for the back end of the spring mechanism when the jacks are folded up.

by:

Getting these bolted onto the trailer was the hardest part requiring the purchase of a drill guide so that the holes through the rails were as close as possible to parallel. New tools are never a problem though :) Spend sufficient time making sure that the stabilizer jacks will fold properly and fit where you mount them. They work excellent and it's now easy to ride the big Pan America onto and off of the trailer without it being attached to the truck. Used it that way in Amarillo, Santa Fe and Austin last year and they are about to go west again. All good!

by:

I welded these onto the back of my small luggage trailer. They make good jacks when I take my wheels off for maintenance.

My luggage trailer weighs less than 650 pounds, so it's no problem and very convenient.

Also, if I have a tire blowout on the road, it would be easy to use them as a jack. All I would have to do is let them down.

Good buy for the price also.

by:

Installed easily on my 1962 Serro Scotty trailer making it much easier to level I was using set jack which had very coarse adjustment.

by:

Item was not packed right, came damaged. Have to straight. If your company would invest in bubble wrap or packing paper items would have a less chance of the carrier mishandling item.

This is second shipping problem i have had with this company. Heavy items need to be packed and boxed properly.

by:

Well I received the jacks in a short mount of time which was great. But I was very disappointed with the shipping. There no paper or foam in the box so that the jacks wouldn’t touch or make contact with the small metal bar. So one of the stabliizers jack was damage scraped up. At lease let me be the one to scrape it up. I paid for it.

I agree that we would the part to be used before it is scrape up. Customer Service will reach out to you. The best bet would be to use a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum to touch it up before it is installed.

by:

I used them as tongue jacks for my trailers. They work great!

by:

I learned about this product on a YouTuber who did a review on a karavan trailer the product is perfect. It’s very easy to install. The only thing it didn’t come with was instructions how to raise and lower the leg and how to release it, but I figured it out overall, it was a great product. The paint has on it. It’s very thin so it scrapes real easily but excellent. Add onto my etrailer. Thank you.

by:

First of all these jacks did exactly as advertised. I have a small utility/camping trailer I wanted to stabilize better to help eliminate the trailer from rocking or sliding around. After mounting them they immediately improved the stability. If I wanted I could even raise the trailer wheels off the ground. I installed 1 pair underneath the back of the trailer. Install took less than 15 min.
The only negative of this design is the catch mechanism that holds the jack in the UP position. Returning from a camping trip a passing motorist informed me that one of the jacks were down. Luckily it was not damaged. Its possible it was rubbing on the trailer and wasn't able to fully lock UP. After a quick adjustment they have given me zero problems.

by:

I think these jacks work great for my propose. I put them in the back of my utility trailer to keep the front from raising up when I drive my garden tractor up on it. Good quality and sturdy.

by:

I'm using the jacks to level the tailgate on my trailer so it can be used as a deck. They are easy to adjust for terrain variations

by:

Well-made product at an exceptional price. Perfect for stabilizing my small generator trailer.

by:

Added these to my 5x7 utility trailer, for 2 reasons, one to stable the tail when unloading, 2 to use as a Jack for flat tires. They are what I wanted and expected! Good pricing also help. I chose to weld them on, 30 minutes install time.

by:

Worked out great, didn’t have to do any drilling as the hole spacing matched the bolt spacing of the D rings on my trailer. When folded they are completely above the framing of the trailer.

by:

The jacks work fine but the paint is peeling off and they pretty rusty.

Parts are as advertised
I did have a
problem with one part but that was promptly handled
Service is great if you have questions there answered quickly and correctly

by:

Exactly what I was looking for to replace the ones on my trailer. Ordered and received in a couple days!

by:

Thank you E trailer for such a great product, Stabilizer jacks and for delivering them as fast as you did, at a great low price. This is my second set, my son just bought a trailer like mine, and these Stabilizer jacks work great on mine, trailer is very stable using these jacks, really could not do with out them. Thank you.

by:

Product was out of stock and was to arrive after June 1st but came early and now installed. Item is very solid and I can load my Trailer now without having it hooked up to my truck.

  • Best Way to Attach Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD to Trailer Frame
Best option for you would be to have the Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD welded to your trailer frame. That will give you the most secure attachment. A local welder to you should have no problem attaching these. Would probably be the easiest job of his day!

  • Stabilizer Jack Legs for Fold Down Deck on Motorhome
I have a product that could be perfect for your needs if the deck height is 15-1/4 to 22-1/4 inches. The Stallion # 288-01892-2 stabilizer jacks are height adjustable from 15-1/4 to 22-1/4 inches, and would fold down when not in use. They're sold in a quantity of 2, and the pair would have a support capacity of 1000 lbs. For a similar jack with less height, the # TJ01RT-HD also would fold down when not in use and are height adjustable from 11-1/2 to 18 inches. These jacks have an identical...

Good question. The Stabilizer Jack - 6-1/4" Drop Leg Travel - 18" - 650 lbs - Qty 1 # TJ01RT doesn't come with the Replacement Handle Rod for etrailer and Ram Stabilizer Jacks - 650 lbs # SJ-100-HD which does come included in the kit # TJ01RT-HD. The pricing does change based on the manufacturer costs and stock at any given time, so it is wise to compare as you have done.

We offer one replacement drop leg for a Fulton stabilizer jack. If you have a Fulton jack on your trailer this may work well for you. This is part # FSJ40324. The Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD can work with the two inch frame of your trailer but either a plate will need to be welded to the frame or the jacks themselves would need to be welded. • Where To Mount Stabilizer Jacks For A Freedom Elite 28h RV
Let me start by stating that the stabilizer jacks like the Etrailer Stabilizer Jacks, Item # TJ01RT-HD, are designed to support a portion of your trailer's weight, not your full GVWR of your trailer. • Recommended Corner Stabilizer Jacks For A Runaway RangeRunner Trailer
The ARK camper jacks definitely are top tier, but since you have a 16" distance you'll have to go with something a bit smaller like the etrailer Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD. These drop leg jacks retract down to 11" and extend up to 18". These jacks fold up tightly to the frame and won't stick out in the way like scissor jacks do. They come in packs of two so you'll need to get two packs in order to stabilize each corner of your trailer.
