Best Way to Attach Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD to Trailer Frame

Question:

Good afternoon, I just received my Stabilizer Jacks - 6-1/4inch Leg Travel - 18inch - 650 lbs - Qty 2 Item # TJ01RT-HD the other day and now wondering if it would be ok to install them on the back of a 10.5 foot camping trailer? My concern is I cannot go all the way through the frame and would have to use self drilling screws. I am thinking of using #14 screws but wanted to ask if there is an alternative or better method vs the self drilling screws. Thanks

Best option for you would be to have the Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD welded to your trailer frame. That will give you the most secure attachment. A local welder to you should have no problem attaching these. Would probably be the easiest job of his day!
