The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.
To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.

Stud mount. 3-Wire design.After being told that I'd have to "settle" for a round light fixture for my boat trailer, I went online to try to find something that would better match the original equipment.
Luckily for me, I found the etrailer website, which had the exact match I wanted, so I ordered it. Then, when it was delivered a few days later, I held it up to the fixture on the other side of the trailer, and saw it was an exact match.
Fifteen minutes later the replacement had been installed, and now I have a trailer that looks as it was meant to look.

Great all in one light had to splice wires to existing plug but overall excellent! Was for a 2016 TRACKER Pro Guide™ V-175 Combo boat trailer.
Product was an easy replacement. I did have to extend the holes in the trailer to make the bolts in the lights line up. You can use a round file or drill the holes out to a larger size. This may not be required for you trailer.
It was a perfect replacement for the existing light and it was easy to install.

These lights work real good because you can see them from far away. Very bright. They sometimes don't last a year, but I have had a few that do last longer then others. I like these, because other drivers can see my boat.
The tail light was wrapped well in the shipping container. It arrived in great condition. It was exactly as advertised. This was a replacement for a broken light. The light fit perfectly into the space on the trailer of the previous light.
When the light arrived and I opened the box, it looked perfect. I immediately went outside and removed the old light. I installed and spliced in the new light and then tested it. It worked perfectly!

I am very pleased with the product that I have purchased from etrailer !!!, the product was everything I expected great prices craftsmanship The aftermarket product was better than the Original part that came on the trailer, I plan to buy the passenger side in the near future.
