Well I went to install my drive's side light with license plate holder and found out that both lights sent to me are the same driver's side light, lucky for me because one of them was broken.

As for the other items I haven't installed them yet but at least the appear to be the correct item and not broken.

oh no! I am sorry that we shipped the wrong light. Customer service will reach out to you.

by:

These were an exact replacement from the originial incandescents and have performed flawlessly. I bought both with the license plate bracket, and the separate LED for the license plate makes a huge difference. One unintended benefit from them is that they really light up the ground at night and is really beneficial when backing into a site at night. No complaints!

by:

These new Optronics LED rear trailer lights work great. They are super bright and very low current draw. Voltage at the rear of my 30 foot trailer was 10.5 volts with incandescent bulbs. With LED's, it's up around 12 volts where it should be.

by:

Haven't had the opportunity to install the tail light yet.

by:

These LED lights are a great improvement from the originals. I'm a big fan of LEDs I replace them in everything I have if I can. much safer .
I all so installed a LED light strip, like the ones you would install under the tail gate on a pick up. with Back ups, Tail & Turn.
These Optronics light are a little smaller in size, you do have to silicon over the old holes before installing.

by:

Good except the tabs that the cover snaps into were broken, I had to attach it with screws since I am leaving soon and knew I wouldn't be able to get a replacement quickly enough.

by:

Great product. Quick installation. Bright and eye catching.

by:

Works perfectly. Easy to install.

by:

Great upgrade for my 1999 Jayco Eagle. Easy installation.

by:

I bought these LED tail lights to replace the incandescent Bergman lights that were original on my 1999 pop-up. I was hoping for much brighter light than the old incandescent tail lights. These are brighter than incandescent, but not as bright as I had hoped. Still, it is an improvement. See the videos for how they function (LED on the left, incandescent on the right). Installing them wasn’t too bad, although they did have a different hole configuration than my old Bergman lights. So I had to do some drilling and get some banana peel rivets. I also needed to drill a hole through the taillight back plate on the right side to get it to line up with the wiring hole on my camper. The color of the wiring was also reversed from what was on my camper. A little clear silicone to fill the old holes, and I’m all set.

Review for the Low Profile RV Combination Tail Light w/ Mounting Bracket - 4 Function - 9 Diodes, #RVSTL61

by:

Replaced both tail light with these lights. Went on easy, fit right where the old ones were mounted, wiring was no problem. These are a lot brighter, I hope people can see these a lot better than the old incandescent lamps.
Price was reasonable and shipping came right when you said it would arrive.

Still working and looking good.

by:

Ordering was easy and delivery was quic k.

by:

Cracked lens on the OEM tail light, I took the opportunity to change them out to LED. This model substantially fit the footprint of the OEM units. I have found them to have good daylight brightness, and as LED's do, they "pop" when they turn on or off. Back and forth through Atlanta and Nashville a few times already this spring in daytime traffic, it appeared that my lane changing intentions were clearly visible as I always received consideration when I signaled. And the best part; I needed them just as I was departing on a trip. Ended up I was going right by etrailer.com so they held them at the will-call counter for me. Couldn't have been easier!

And when you need electric brake stuff for your trailer, upgrade to the self-adjusting type and be happy with better brakes than you're probably used to.

by:

I ordered LED tail lights for an old trailer that needed a brighter brake light. No problem with the order or installing the lights. I have since purchased a drop-down trailer hitch from etrailer. I'm very pleased with the products. I love the videos on the etrailer website which give me a more accurate view of the product than what I can see in just a photo; and the audio instructions/review are very helpful.

by:

I was growing weary of the incandescent bulbs on my trailer taillights coming loose, and losing the lens in one provided the perfect excuse to replace both with LED. The website was excellent, and the videos were very helpful and an unexpected treat.

Initially I was irritated when the order showed up with 1 LED and 1 incandescent. I called customer service and they rushed a replacement LED right away, which is all I can ask for.

I installed them this weekend and they look great - much brighter than the old bulbs. I haven't road-tested them yet, but don't see why I'd have any trouble. The mounting holes weren't an exact match to my old ones, darn it, but installation was a breeze.

by:

Light works great. Was easy to install.

by:

This was an exact replacement for the OEM tail lights on my KZ Spree travel trailer. The replacement process was very straight forward. These tail lights are much brighter than the originals, and the LEDs should last the life of the RV without the aggravating and unpredictable bulb replacement needed by the older type.
The website product description was perfectly accurate. Communication was excellent. This has also been my experience with etrailer on previous orders.

by:

I recently came into a 12' popup trailer, and upon bringing it home I realized that the rear light plastic had decayed to the point where it was falling apart.
I found etrailer.com and fell in love with their well-made website, with it's massive lighting collection that was well curated and organized. It was clear to me that the people at etrailer.com are really passionate about trailer lighting! The videos of each product were awesome and really helped me figure out what I wanted to get. The lights came exactly as promised and were easy to install.
Will highly recommend!

by:

Upgraded standard tail lights on camper trailer to LED taillights. Had to drill new holes to mount as they are close but not and exact replica of what was on the trailer. Lights are 100 times better than the original. Even the driver side light has a separate LED to illuminate your license plate. Worth the money and 30 minutes to install. LED's are brighter especially during the day. Turn and brake lights are more definitive than standard tail lights. I upgrade to LED on every trailer we have owned.

by:

Easy to order. Arrived sooner than I thought and the product was exactly as shown. WIll definitely order from etrailer again.

The product has been working wonderfully. Much better than the old bulbs. Good product I would recommend.

by:

The trailer drivers side tail light license plate replacement was easy to install with written instructions and also on line video. The new LED lights are bright and a big improvement over the standard bulb in the old lens.

by:

These lights are an excellent upgrade for my pop-up camper. I highly recommend them over incandescents for replacement of old faded tail lights.

by:

Good Replacement. Much brighter than the OEM tail light

Still working great. Love them!

by:

One year of use, and they are still working well. Direct replacement for the OEM lights on our 2013 Forest River Rockwood trailer. Much brighter than the incandescent fixtures they replaced.

by:

They are bit smaller then my lights I have on traveling trailer. Can't see behind a traveling trailer and they worked great. Very bright behind the trailer and that's what I wanted. No need to replace bulbs and no bulb coming lose were it came off and on. They are very $ for one bulb but I think its worth it.

  • Can Wedge Mounting Base for Optronics RV Tail Lights Be Mounted Upside Down
Yes, the Wedge Mounting Base # RV60BBK can be mounted upside down if that is what you need to properly fit the lights on your trailer. This is designed to fit # RVSTL60 and # RVSTL61 series lights.

I recommend verifying these measurements on your existing unit. There is not a direct LED replacement assembly for these tail lights, but we do have some options that have similar dimensions. Those are going to be a taillight adapter that was most likely produced solely by Shasta for your camper. It's primary purpose is to give the taillights a better mounting surface and place to conceal the wiring. It is similar to the Wedge Mounting Base # RV60BK that we carry for the Optronics Tail Light # RVSTL60 and RVSTL61. My recommendation would be to replace your tail lights with LED tail lights like part # RVSTL60 (right hand) and # RVSTL61 (left hand). These are fairly inexpensive LED tail lights that provide brake light, turn signal and tail light and license plate light functions.

We have everything that you will need to make something work, but we do not have a kit that was designed for this specific purpose.
