A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.
Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Hooked it up to a 12V battery before installing and the light did not work. Circuit board showed voltage but no light.
I accidentally nicked one of the lights on my trailer while backing up in the dark, I just needed the red outer shell. It was easy to swap out the broken one with the new one from this item, and now I have a backup electrical part for the light.
Easy installation, no more worries if a bulb is bad!
Order arrived earlier than expected. Item appears to be a good quality. My previous side marker on my RV had two LEDs (new has one), but it seems bright enough. Easy to install.

It passed one year since I purchased an installed red side marker on my motorhome. Still working great and plastic parts not fading from UV light.
Should be good for the life of my campe r!

1 diode not 3, seem like old stock, work but would not purchase again, not super bright

The good news is you didnt get old stock on these. They actually are just one diode. The bad news is I think the part you may have been looking at is part # MCL32RBB. If you would like to make a return or purchase part # MCL32RBB, I can have our customer service team reach out to you.
Work well as advertised
You packed them in with the D rings and stake pockets with no protection. One was broken when it arrived.

I am sorry to hear they arrived damaged! It looks like our customer service team is already working on shipping you a replacement.
All I needed was the lens. But the lens itself was almost expensive as the whole assembly.
We bought these running lights to replace nonworking lights on our Keystone Cougar 5th wheel. They were a perfect fit.
Was able to coil up lead wires in the lens case. Great option here

Original fixture has a removable/twist out bulb fixture. New light has a fixed bill. Still works, just need to wire it in.

These items work great. They make it easier for others to see.
The only problem I had was when I tried to swap out the three function tail light. The unit had a hard wired light assy. and the LED light requires a three prong plug. I’m sure I can find a three prong plug and pig tail that I can splice in at the light at my local auto parts. Everything else was great
they arrived on time and were a perfect match.
