Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - Lift Spacers - F2368

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a 3" lift. Now these parts here will let you install your Ride-Rite Air Springs on a lifted vehicle using these lift spacers. Basically, these spacers will attach between the bottom of your lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on vehicles with a 3" lift. Now, Firestone does offer these spacers and a rise anywheres from two inches all the way up to six inches. This part here is for a 3" lift, and just to show you, put a ruler on that.

There you can see is your 3" measurement. How to install these, the distance on your vehicle between the upper and lower brackets must be between eight and a half and nine and a half inches. The spacer must be the same size as your lift kit rise, and this lift spacer needs to match the amount of lift added to the rear of your vehicle. This part will include these two lift spacers and all the hardware you can see here that's necessary for installation. The lift spacer fits the axle mounted air springs.

Now these spacers can be used with most Ride-Rite air spring kits. This part here will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286 but they will fit Ride-Rite model F2286 if it's manufactured after February 1st, 2006. But that should do it for the review on these lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a 3" lift.

  • Recommended Timbrens for a 2018 Toyota Tundra with 3 Inch Lift Kit
For your 2018 Toyota Tundra, I recommend using the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORTUN4 with three of the Timbren Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles part # TA25723-90AD00 stacked. Assuming you have a full 3" suspension lift and not a body lift, this option should give you 1/2"-1" of clearance but the spring measures 3-3/4" tall so you can can always measure to be certain. Please keep in mind you will need to obtain longer M10 bolts from your local hardware store to install...

For an air suspension enhancement kit we offer that can be used on a truck like your 2013 GMC Sierra with a 3 inch lift we have the Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2430 which you can use spacers like 3 inch spacers # F2368 to take up the extra space created by the lift kit. The Air Lift kit you referenced can't be installed on vehicles that have lifts. I attached an install video for the Firestone kit for you to check out as well.

  • Are Lift Spacers Needed to use Firestone Ride-Rite on 2006 Ram 2500 With 3 Inch Lift?
You can use the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2299 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 3" lift. What you would need are the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2368; these spacers are designed to be used with vehicles that have a 3" lift so if the distance between the frame and axle did increase 3 inches more than stock then these would work for you. I've added links to a video review and install of the Ride-Rite for you to take a look at as well.

  • How to Use Air Lift LoadLifter Air Bags on a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6 Inch Lift
Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57538 will work on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500. However, you don't need to use the 7500 XL system nor would I advise it. Instead, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57338. The 7,500 lb and 5,000 lb weight capacity you see is for pin/tongue weight, not gross trailer weight as the the pin/tongue weight is the only part that is directly over the top of the airbags. They will however both do an...

Since you have a 6" lift on your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 you will need a lift spacer in order for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2430 to work. The correct way to measure for a lift spacer is when the truck is on the ground without any added weight in the bed. If you tell me what chassis you have (1500, 2500, 3500), whether it is a light-duty (LD) 6-lug or heavy-duty (HD) 8-lug, and whether it is 2 or 4 wheel drive I can confirm if the kit you have is the correct one for your vehicle. • Recommended Suspension Enhancement and Towing Parts for a Lifted 2018 Ford F-150 and 10K Trailer
I'll start off by saying the best way to tow is without a lift kit or bigger tires on any pickup because the more height you add the easier it is for your vehicle to squat and the more difficult it can be to find the correct components for towing. With that being said, there are people out there who still tow safely with a lifted truck so it is definitely possible. If the lift you have is a body lift you wouldn't need any spacer blocks. If you have a suspension lift then you would need the part # F2368. • Is Spacer Needed When Installing Firestone Air Bags On 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 With X31 Package?
No, you shouldn't need spacers when installing Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Rear # F2609 on your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 with the X31 package. This is because the X31 package does not include a lift/level kit. If the dealer for some reason installed a lift/level kit after the truck arrived from the factory, then you will in fact need to measure and find out which spacer you need. Find the factory bump stop on the suspension and measure from the top bracket to the bottom bracket...
