Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Lift Spacers For Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - F2370

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at these lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. These spacers are going to allow air springs to be installed on vehicles with four inches of lift, and the distance between the upper and lower brackets must be between 9 1/2 inches and 10 1/2 inches. And the spacer must be the same size as the lift kit rise. Now these spacers attach between the bottom of the lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on vehicles, again, with a four inch lift. And I do want to point out that these will fit Ride-Rite models F2286 if manufactured after February 1st of 2006. However, these will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286.

So this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get the two lift spacers, all the necessary hardware for installation and a set of instructions to walk you through the installation process. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.

Thank you for joining me.

  • Air Bag Helper Spring Lift Spacers For Firestone Ride-Rite Springs On a Lifted 2002 Ford F-250
Yes, for installing the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 on your 6" lifted 2002 Ford F-250 you will only need a lift spacer. You will need to verify the amount of rear lift on your truck as often a 6" lift will have a front 6" lift and rear 4" to level the truck. Firestone offers their lift spacers in the following sizes. 1-1/4" Spacers # F2536 2" Spacers # F2366 3" Spacers # F2367 4" Spacers # F2370 5" Spacers # F2373 6" Spacers # F2374 I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR...

  • How to Choose Spacer for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit on 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 with Lift
I do have a list of spacers that you can choose from so you can continue to use the Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on your 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. All you need to do is measure where your current brackets mount and then add 1-1/4" since that's what it sounds like you will be adding to the back of your pickup: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2" - 9-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2367 9-1/2" - 10-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2370 11-1/2" - 12-1/2" - Lift Spacer...

  • Correct Lift Kit Spacer Needed for Firestone Ride-Rite on a 2003 Ford F-250 with 6" Lift
Sometimes choosing a spacer can be a little confusing (since some lift kits aren't "true" lift kits) but I'm here to help you out. To determine the correct lift kit for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 you just need to use the formula Firestone put together. Simply measure the distance between where the brackets would be on your 2002 Ford F-250 and choose from the following: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2" - 9-1/2" -...

Determining what spacer is correct to use for your Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2703 on your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty can be a little intimidating, but since the air bags themselves take up some space Firestone has put together a formula that you can use to help you determine what kind of spacer you need. To figure out the needed spacer simply measure the distance between where the brackets would be and choose from the following: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" -...

  • Can Firestone Air Bags be Installed on a 2001 Ford Excursion that Does Not have Jounce Bumpers
To install Firestone Ride-Rite air bags # F2251 on a 2001 Ford Excursion 4x4 the jounce bumpers would have to be removed and are not reinstalled. So not having the jounce bumpers actually saves you a step for the installation. I also recommend using a compressor kit, # F2158, so you can add or remove air from the air bags from inside the vehicle. The kit is not required but makes load leveling a lot easier. If the 5 inch block you mentioned means that the frame is 5 inches further away...

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 are confirmed to fit your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty at stock ride height. For your 4" lift you will also need the 4" Lift Spacers # F2370. Be sure to verify that your rear suspension has a 4" lift as several 4" lift kits have a 4" front and 2" rear to level the truck. If that is what you have the 2" Lift Spacers # F2366 are what you need. A single outlet compressor like the Air Command Compressor System # F2610 will only have one output...

This will depend on how your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 was lifted. If it was a frame lift, this will not affect the spacing on the suspension and the SumoSprings # SSR-610-40 will definitely be a good option. If it was a suspension lift, there will be too much of a gap and the # SSR-610-40 will not fit properly as they do not offer spacers. For this style of lift, you will want to go with an air bag system, like the Firestone # F2609. You would then need to measure from the bottom of the top...

However, if the Fox springs are installed to increase the vehicle height you may need a spacer to install the air bags. You would need to measure from the frame of your truck and the axle to know which spacer is needed. If you do not know the height added by your truck's lift kit you can measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets (without the air bag) to determine which spacer you need to fill the gap. For a 2-inch spacer use # F2366; for a 3-inch use # F2368; for a 4-inch spacer use # F2370; for a 5-inch spacer use # F2373; for a 6-inch use # F2374. If your current lift block is tapered (from 3-1/2 to 4-inches tall) you'll probably be best off using the 4-inch spacer block # F2370.
