Are Spacers Needed to Install Firestone Air Bags on a Lifted Truck
Question:
Im installing the 2071 on a 2007 1-ton have a plate on front of frame do I use a spacer for the difference ? Thanks

Expert Reply:
If your lift is on the front of the truck but not the rear then you would not need to use any spacers to install Firestone air bags # F2071. On the rear, you would need spacers if the distance between the truck frame and the axle has increased.
The size of the spacer is going to depend on the amount of lift. Firestone has the following:
For vehicles with 1-1/4 inch lift use # F2536
For 2 inches use # F2366
For 3 inches use # F2368
For 4 inches use # F2371
For 6 inches use # F2375
