Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Lift Spacers For Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - F2374

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at these Lift Spacers for your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. These spacers are going to allow your leaf-mounted air springs to be installed on vehicles with a six inch lift, and from 11 and a half inches to 12 and a half inches between your upper and lower brackets. And the spacer kit must be the same size as the lift kit rise. Now, these spacers attach between the bottom of the lower bracket, and the bottom of the spring on vehicles with the six inch lift.

And this is going to fit Ride-Rite model F2286, if manufactured after February 1st, 2006. However, these will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286, so just so you're aware of that. This does include everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to receive these two lift spacers, and then all of the necessary hardware and instructions to walk you through the installation process. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.

I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Can you please describe how you were informed to measure this? Can you please provide a picture of it?

I appreciate you reaching out. The air bags worked great. I sold the truck a month later but now I have another truck I may be looking to do the same to

by:

Tall spacer do not allow for correct geometry on 2008 Silverado. I went with the 4" spacer on my 6" lift and it works great!

  • Does 2018 Ford F-150 Need Spacer with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags Installed
If you only have 5 psi in the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582 and the back end of our 2018 Ford F-150 is higher than the front, spacers would just increase that difference. Trucks aren't always level from the factory - that's why the instructions for the air bags have you measure and record the front and back heights individually and then compare them to what you get with the air bags installed. With that being said, if you think you might need a spacer there is a fairly...

  • Spacers to Install Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on 2007 Chevy Silverado with 6" Lift
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2250 are a great option to add suspension enhancement to your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Classic. You can accommodate the 6 inch lift that your Silverado has by using the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2374 which are for vehicle with a 6 inch lift. You can verify that these will fit by making sure that the distance between the upper and lower brackets are between 11-1/2 inches and 12-1/2 inches. Another great...

Sometimes choosing a spacer can be a little confusing (since some lift kits aren't "true" lift kits) but I'm here to help you out. To determine the correct lift kit for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 you just need to use the formula Firestone put together. Simply measure the distance between where the brackets would be on your 2002 Ford F-250 and choose from the following: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2" - 9-1/2" -...

  • Recommended Air Springs For A 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali With 6" Cognito Lift And Fox Suspension
Firestone air bags, like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613 are a great choice for helping support the suspension of your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. These springs have a 5,000lb capacity and bolt on design, with no drilling required. They're also compatible with in-bed hitches so you can still tow a 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer. As for the need for a spacer, lift kits don't always create the same amount of gap so honestly the best way to determine the correct spacer...

If you have an actual 6" lift in the rear then the correct spacer for you is the Lift Spacer for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2374.
