Air Bags For 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 With 4" Block Lift Under the Leaf Spring

I need an air bag kit for my 2018 GMC SIERRA 1500 with 4" block lift under the leaf spring. What can i Use?

Expert Reply:
I recommend to use the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2430 which will work with the 4" block lift with Firestone spacers as confirmed by Firestone. The Firestone bags have 4 layers of reinforced rubber compared to other brands that are less durable.
I have attached the spacers available depending on the amount of space between the bottom and top bracket. To measure for the correct spacer you will need to park the truck on level ground without any weight in the bed. Measure from the top bracket to the bottom bracket where the air bags attach. The spacer will install between the lower bracket and the bottom of the air bag.
6.5" to 7.5" - part # F2536
7.5" to 8.5" - part # F2366
8.5" to 9.5" - part # F2368
10.5" to 11.5" - part # F2373
11.5" to 12.5" - part # F2374
I also recommend to add the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs part # AL25980EZ because of it's an easier installation compared to the other compressor systems. It includes a no drill U-bolt for an easy attachment to the frame rail. It also does not require extending the air lines to the cab because the included wireless remote allows you to adjust the bags instead of in the cab controls like other options.
