Great place to go when you need RV PARTS AND THINGS

by:

Excellent product, very strong, great quality steel and grade bolts.
Installed it on my 2002 Dodge Ram. Very simple, and it took about 3 hours start to finish. I applied Red threadlocker to all nuts and bolts, and checked them 3 months after installation. I didn't connect the quick release arm, due to my bed having inner wheelwell skirts, but I just put a ziplock bag over my ball when not towing. The kit works great, the ball is high grade alloy. I was slightly concerned because I tow alot over the Rockies, but it's been very reliable. Thanks B&W, I recommend you to my friends out there!

by:

Works great, no worry of unconnected wiring from too tight harness

by:

Excellent service and the perfect solution to 7 way cord unable to reach hook up from goose neck to truck! Thanks!

by:

As usual I promptly received what I ordered, all in the condition I would hope for... perfect.

by:

E trailer as usual provides great service as well as great communication. This product is exactly what I needed. Thank you.

by:

Pretty pathetic service from etrailer. Order place on Aug 25th with ETA of the following Friday (1o days). But nope, I wait. It finally (and supposedly ships) on Sept 7th (13 days later). On Sept 14th I received a confirmation that my items were delivered, but nope. Not to my house anyway. Avoid these folks if you want something to arrive when they say it will arrive.

Thank you for the review. Our customer service team should be reaching out to you in the near future.

I bought the adapter based on advice.
The 7-Pole Round Trailer Connector Adapter # PK12727 is NOT the same as the Lance plug. Adapter is good quality and arrived quickly bu unfortunately would not work for my Lance camper factory plug.

If the camper has a 7-way round pin, youll need an adapter like part PK12727.

by:

It wasn't what I explained i needed. The product is perfect. What I asked for was an 8 ft that I could hardwire to the trailer that had the plug on the truck end.

It sounds like you are looking for a trailer side plug. I recommend part # H20046.

by:

I would rather have had the female end more of a rounded design but I realize the screw in may be the only option after all it is an extension cord basically. It still worked as expected.

by:

Good product. Fit perfectly. And as always Tim, The good folks at etrailer did a great job getting it to me. I have bought several items from etrailer and they all have been good quality components.thx.

Still holding up.

by:

great quality.

by:

We purchased a new 5th wheel so had to upgrade the wiring harness. This harness was a simple plug and play and works great with our new 5th wheel. My husband leaves it plugged into his wire harness under the bumper and has it run up between the tailgate and the back of the bed and just leaves it in his truck. We do have a cover on our truck so it is not exposed to the elements. I would highly recommend this wiring harness to anyone.

by:

This is the cats meow. Took maybe 15 minutes to install, most of which was drilling the hole. Connections were spot on. After a year still working great. If you haul a 5th wheel, gooseneck or just need an in bed ug I highly recommend this item.

by:

The cable was delivered promptly and it functions as advertised. Be aware that it is a thick cable if you are planning on running it through tight openings or sharp turns. I bought it mainly to allow connecting to a trailer while not hitched to it and to allow in-line balasts to be on a cable rather than putting a strain on the socket on the tow vehicle. But I also wanted to check when brake lights came on when coasting in various modes of a PHEV. I gently left the tailgate resting on the cable rather than closing it for that test.

by:

Appears to be well made. Price was right and as always the service from etrailer was second to none. I'm sure by the look of it that it will perform as intended.

Works as it should. Good quality ends.

by:

Decent hitch but etrailer again shorted me parts.
I contacted etrailer and told them the parts that were shorted.
They did not take responsibility and blamed it on the manufacture.
This is now the second time I have had problems with etrailer in the last 6 months.
Now my customer is pissed that the hitch will take an additional 1 week for the missing parts to be shipped.
I am done with etrailer.

by:

The wiring harness arrived just as adve rtised.

by:

Exactly what I needed and had been looking for. My trailer wiring wasn't long enough for my new truck and I need an extension. Thought about making one myself but this was so much better. I won't hesitate to look on your web site for any future needs.

by:

The 7-pin extension is the perfect solution, allowing me to work on the trailer lights and brakes while at home. I am impressed with the selection of products available and will undoubtedly make more purchases throughout the year!

by:

The extension cable if perfect for the gooseneck trailer to semi truck 5th wheel. No need to cut up and extend the trailer cable.

by:

Worked great!
I cut the unit in half,
and connected one side to my electric jack and the receptical side mounted to my battery box
Excellent product!!

by:

This extension cord is what I've been looking for. Product came to post office very quickly. Bought this for our 5th wheel and to move electrical hookup from bumper to bed without cutting more holes in bed. 5th wheel is still under wraps for the winter and I haven't installed yet. Will be a couple of months before actual use. The cord is heavy duty construction

by:

very handy to have. we have a couple pickups that the plugs are to off to the side or hitches are to long or trailer plug is to short and this makes it easy.

by:

I need an extension to easy the connection of our RV to the toad.
This work perfectly although I wish there was a shorter extension.
The quality of the cord looks good, I have used the same brand umbilical for several years without issues.

The Curt Universal 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 7-Way Extension # C56080 referenced in your question features an end to end length of 7 feet. • Typical Uses for Curt 7-Foot Universal 7-Way Extension Cable C56080
Curt part # C56080 is a 7-foot extension cable in the 7-way RV blade style connector format. The male plug end is just like what many trailers with electric brakes are equipped with; and the female socket end is the same as a 7-way socket that would be found on a vehicle that is set up for towing such a trailer. This item carries trailer lighting, trailer braking power and 12V auxiliary power signals from a vehicle to a trailer. This part works as an extension cable for any application...

  • Will 7-Way Trailer Connector Extension Charge a Trailer Battery
The Curt Universal 7-Way Extension, part # C56080, plugs into your truck's existing 7-way and moves it inside the truck bed. This makes it easier to hook up a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer. The 12 volt pin on your existing 7-way will provide power to your trailer's battery through the extension, however it isn't going to charge a battery. The current from a 7-way connector only maintains the charge on a battery.

The Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 7-Way Extension # C56080 referenced in your question is a universal product that will plug directly to an existing 7-Way RV-style connector. Unlike other fifth-wheel wiring harnesses that plug in line at the back of a factory 7-Way, this will go right to the actual 7-Way connector, so it will work with any truck that already has a 7-Way installed. Black is for power and white is for ground. Be sure to follow the instructions for your PowerMax during the installation.
