Used 2 of these to add a light kit to my Thule T-2 receiver bike hitch. East to mount and wire with optional lens kit. Adds extra safety with 2 29 inch bike hanging out the back.

After one year it is still working perfectly

Brackets seem to be good quality, and not flimsy metal at all. The lights fit nice in them, and not loose. They really look great on my Thule T2 Classic bike rack.
Warning though, if you dont pay for the more expensive 3 day shipping, your package will just sit there and get pushed back in the shipping queue for a week or more.

All products bought from etrailer.com have been as advertised. All products purchased are excellent. Products purchased are, Blue ox tow receiver, 6 inch drop/rise. A very strong, well made product. Also, a set of LED tow lights, for my scooter carrier. A 'Quiet hitch lock', which ensures no movement in my hitch at all. Lastly, a hitch plug, a little bit of 'whimsy', many thanks to the reps., at etrailer.com, their knowledge and advice has been invaluable.

Attaced trailer lights to a Thurle hitch, 2bike platform. When the plateform is lowered to the loaded position the lights are located on the bottom of the rearmost horizontal bar. The light on the left is attached to the hex bolt at the end of th bar and rhe other end of the mounting bracket is held to the bar by a zip tie which runs through the hole at that end of the bracket. On the right side There are 4hex bolts on that part of the bar. The bracket holes don’t match up to those bolts. I used the bolt closer to the center and furthest to the rear and drilled a new hole in the bracket to match the bolt in that line furthest to the end. Both lights are secure and as the picture shows helps to define the protrsion of the rack and hopefully will protect from a rearend crash.

Bought these brackets to mount two oval LED lights to my Thule Hitch mount bike rack. Rugged construction made installation easy. Well made product that I would highly recommend.

by:

Bracket and lights worked as I intended them to. I have to back my boat trailer into a dark barn and the lights help in doing so.

by:

Worked well for my flatbed project
Solid
design and have held up against
Vibration and weather. Overall happy
With these brackets

A friend had this style on his trailer and they seemed to be trouble free, I could not buy these local for the price etrailer offers.
So I bought light, gromet, and pig tail. Very nice and easy to mount.

by:

Exactly what I was looking for these are sturdy enough to attach with magnets as temporary towing lights for my historic vehicle. Thanks

by:

Just what I needed to add tail lights on my T2 Pro bike rack for added safety and peace of mind.

by:

The Brackets are made of rigid, high quality steel, with a nice powder coated finish. We used these brackets to add newer style lights to an old trailer. These saved us lots of machining and cutting time.

by:

fit the back up light perfectly as advertised.
nice
universal mount, mounts anywhere you can drill a hole or two.

by:

Looks great on my trailer. thanks

Just like a TIMEX watch takes a licking

by:

Good fit and plenty of holes for vaious mounting applications. I welded mine on and the material is thick enough to be welded and hold its structural integrity mounted in any position.

by:

I have a Thule Easy Fold XT Bike Rake, which by the way is an awesome Bike Rack. It lacked one thing, Brake Lights. etrailer.com makes it easy to attach. Here is my installation which took about 30 minutes to install.

by:

Great value and seemingly good quality. I opted to add stop lights with components reviewed on etrailer site. LED wiring with light kit is very problematic. Had to purchase a 12” 4 way extender. No way to do a neat, professional install due to the wire harness. Oh well, it’s installed. I would still do it again but suggest product management take control. . Love etrailer service.

by:

I had crushed one of the tail lights and I. Replaced it with this one and it was exact same thing. Thank you so very much and have a nice day

by:

Straight forward mounting. I used twist ties provided. Very secure. Drove 600 miles with no issues. Customer service was excellent

by:

The bracket depicted in this review IS NOT the bracket I got. Disappointed. My bracket doesn't say etrailer nor did it come with screw holes as shown. I had to mount lights to bracket via zip tie. Again, disappointed.

by:

Elcellent product and arrived early. Works just as advertised and looks nice on my Cargo Carrier. Just got done ordering more items. Great customer service department answered all my questions.

I mounted a pair of these 98174LED lights to my Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Rack- HR1450Z-E. They work great. It's nice to have the added protection of having an extra set of brake/tail lights when my mounted electric bikes cover and hide my Ford Escape tail lights.

First...I have used trailer hitches and other products from etrailer before...all worked and were relatively easy to install for a 74 year old, falling apart, fat boy.

I have no real complaints toward etrailer or those/this product.

I called before ordering this oval light mount to be sure it would fit the LED trailer lights I have and was assured all 4 holes lined up perfectly. My lights looked like the 10 led STL72R, but the mount had only two holes and only 1 hole lined up(see pictures)...the other was off by ~14" to 3/8".

In all fairness I don't know how old my lights are or who made them...nor do I know which light was used as a model or by whom at etrailer...

It is NOT a big problem and easily fixed and the mount is usable as is just by drilling an upper mounting hole and/or elongating the mount holes on both the light and mount and using washers to squeeze the flanges together.

A person can always hope that pieces and parts will fit perfectly but that isn't the usual happening especially with parts made who knows how many years apart and by how? many manufacturers.

I am satisfied.

This assembly will be mounted on a "trunk mount" attached to my Voyager Trike kit on my 2002 Moto Guzzi California Special Sport

I purchased these Submersible LED bulbs for my boat trailer for two reasons. The first is so road traffic is aware of my intentions of backing up and the second is to make it easier to back my trailer into my driveway at night. The only thing that I find disappointing about this product, is that the wires are not sealed. You have to plug a pigtail in to power the bulb. Although they say it is watertight, I still plan on sealing the plug with some marine grade silicone sealant. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the way these bulbs light up my path of travel.

by:

I used this with the 98174 led light kit to put on my Thule T2 bike rack. I was alway worried about the expensive bikes on the back of the car when in traffic. The light kit makes brake lights visible and no worry of bikes blocking them any more. I used heavy duty outdoor double sided tape to mount brackets and lights to the rack.

Upon placing an order i had not received tracking number of shipment and called to see where order was after 7 days. While there was some confusion they found the problem that supplier was no longer making a stainless light bracket and originally said they were 2 more weeks out on getting the powder coated ones. 3 days later may shipment was received in full with everything. Even though there was an error in the order at least you could contact someone and get immediate assistance. This will be my first choice for parts as they have given great service on all my previous orders as well. Keep up the great service hard to find these days.
