Where to Mount Light Kit 20174 On a Curt Cargo Carrier
Question:
Hi Just got a new trailer hitch, 24 x 30 wing light kit. I have the brackets but cant determine best place to mount. Seems like the back of the lights will interfere with cargo. Also the bracket flange is quite a bit wider than the rail on the hitch This is for a 2003 Tahoe application. Can you offer a placement suggestion Thanks

I would mount light brackets # BK70BB so that the brackets are right side up sitting on top of the top rail of carrier # C18151. That would keep the lights out from the carrier a little and it is an easy place to attach the brackets. This particular cargo carrier does not have a light kit made to fit it so you just have to be a little creative on the installation.
