Today we're going to take a look at the Bulldog Wench wench mount for the Jeep JK 10th Anniversary Edition OE bumper. Now, this wench and fair lead plates designed to convert the 10th anniversary OE steel bumper to be wench mountable. It has the bolt pattern right here you can see drilled into the wench mount plate that uses the industry standard 10 inches by 4-1/2 inch pattern that's used on a lot of your wenches. Now, this part includes everything shown here and it includes the wench mount plate, the fair lead right here, the vacuum canister relocation bracket that installs right along here, the 2 nut brackets to hold this into the bumper and the mounting hardware to connect everything. Now, this JK wench mount kit is designed to fit the 10th Anniversary Rubicon, Rubicon X and Hard Rock editions with the steel OE front bumper starting in the year 2013. It comes with the also nice set of detailed instructions that describe how to install it. Basically the Jeep original bumper has a fair lead opening on it that is offset.
Now, this, when you use this plate, you can actually mount your wench in 2 positions, either using the offset location or the center position. If you notice the holes that are drilled on here, you can see here these holes right here would be the offset position and these would be the center position. Now, if you do want to use the center position, you do need to use this fair lead plate that is provided in the kit. That should do it for the review on this Bulldog Wench wench mount for the Jeep JK 10th Anniversary Edition OE bumper.

First of all shipment was prompt. It is an excellent product and well worth the money.
It is a tight fit but perfect fit no modifications were necessary but be sure to have a large hammer and a block of wood handy.
It comes with a relocation bracket for the vacuum valve but it was not needed on my application (2015 Hard Rock Rubicon).
My personal choice was to remove the grill to avoid any scratches but it is not necessary to remove it.
I highly recommend this product and this company.

Installation was with 2 people. That made it easier. The winch plate works great. Did not have to drill any new holes. Highly recommend to use this plate when installing your winch.
I would recommend this mounting plate. Great idea to watch a couple of YouTube videos to get an overview of what you are facing. Worth your time. The installation was as advertised. Yes, I had to nudge the plate into place with a 2 lb. slug hammer, no big deal. And yes, one of the bumper mounting bolts (there are 8) was off a bit and needed to be drilled to open a bit. If you ask me, this is because of the manufacturing process of the jeep and not the fault of the plate. It took me about six hours to remove the bumper, install the plate, mount and wire the winch and remount the bumper. Oh, did it myself and I'm old at 72 years. Bet you can do it faster.

I would recommend etrailer to everyone. I received my first package damaged from shipper and contacted them, I immediately received an email back on the weekend saying they will make this right. Within a week I received my new package and they took the time to package it inside another box to avoid any damage.

From 1 to 5 it's a 4 installation effort but the bracket is solid! Kit comes complete! no need to go looking for bolts or nuts, all is there!

The Bulldog Winch Mount I purchsed fit my 2016 Jeep Wrangler great with no modifucations needed.
I have had this winch plate for about a year now and no complaints. Easy install and the price was the lowest here on etrailer. Customer service was great as well!
Great Winch plate for a Jeep JK. The front holes did not quite line up and I had to bore them out about 1/16" to fit over the front facing bolts. Otherwise everything is awesome, this is one tough plate.
This product is a perfect fit and tons cheaper then the competition ! I will always check etrailer first for anything. Thanks guys fast shipping you know how to make customers happy
I was a little skeptical about ordering because of the difference in price. I would have to say for the money you can't beat it. I did have some missing parts and the instructions aren't the greatest in the world. But compared to the prices of others, you really can't go wrong. I would buy again if I needed another.

The mount is holding its own. I have winched about a half dozen times and so far all is well. I have a 12K winch attached to it and its doing great
