Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out the Peterson Stick-On Trailer Reflector. Adding a stick on reflector like this is a great way to get some extra visibility from other motorists, you know, without having to run a light. 'Cause sometimes, you know, you just can't mount a light where you want to, or you don't really feel like having to route the wires and go through all that trouble. So, this is a quick and easy solution for you.
So, this one's red in color. You want red to be on the back of the trailer. It's like kind of how we have it set up here. And if you're gonna be doing the sides or the front, you'd want to use an amber colored one, which these are also available. And one of the things that kind of separates these from some of the others is the chrome trim ring.
Some people like it, some people don't. I feel like it would just depend on the style of your trailer that you're putting this on. But you know, if you wanna go for a little extra pop and it matches the rest of your setup, it's a good option for you. Being at these stick on a two-sided tape, you can pretty much mount them anywhere. When you do go to Mount them though, make sure the surface you're putting them on is clean and dry.
So I like to use rubbing alcohol, wipe it down and stick it on. Really, you're only gonna be limited to the size, right Where, if you've got enough for them to put it. So, the size of the reflector is gonna be three and a half inches long, and an inch and three quarters wide. So, relatively compact. And just to kind of compare this one to some of the other ones, here's an Optronics reflector.
I kinda like these. They feel a little bit thicker. They have a black trim ring around it, so just wanted to give you another option there if you think that'll match your trailer better, or whatever the case may be. Other than that, though, you know, not a whole lot to it. It feels well built. It's gonna be a quick and easy way to make your trailer a little more visible. But with that said, I think that'll about do it for our look at of the Peterson Stick-On Trailer Reflector.

The quality of this reflector is okay, but the size stated in the description is off. It will probably be too large for where I intend to place it. It is supposed to be 3" X 1-1/2" but it is close to 3-1/2" X 1-3/4". It looks like the picture, so I wouldn't think I was sent the wrong part.
Same as with the amber reflectors. This make and model has provided superior performance over the years. the price was fair and delivery fast.

The reflectors look like new and are adhered well to the trailer.
One year later the trailer lights are still working like new.
I BACKED MY TRUCK INTO A BRANCH AND THE REPAIR TO MY TRUCK TAIL GATE WOULD HAVE COST OVER 2 HUNDRED DOLLARS BUT / 2 OF THE STICK ON REFLECTORS ON THE GATE LOOK GREAT AND ONE OF THEM IS HIDING A SMALL DENT IM LOVEN IT
The reflectors worked great. I had the trailer powder-coated and had to strip of everything. The new reflectors were a good match and attached easily.
I purchased this reflector as a direct replacement for the OEM reflector on my 1999 Roadrunner boat trailer. The original was smashed when I backed the trailer too close to a fence. As the original was 16 years old and never stopped reflecting, I'd say the lifespan of this item is pretty indefinite, ending only by my own hand. It's comforting to know I can find the original part I need from eTrailer when I cause them to destruct, or they wear out. Thanks, eTrailer!

I restore vintage snowmobiles as a hobby and this reflector was a perfect replacement for the original that was no longer available so thanks etrailer its worked out great for my needs.

I stuck these on the "leather" saddle bags of my motorcycle 1 year ago and they have stayed on and held up very well. Still look good and work great! Will buy more again.

These are easy to use with a peel and stick backing. They look nice and the chrome trim makes them look a bit retro and fit in well on my 1970s trailer. I don't have any long term experience, but these seem reasonable quality.
These lights are used on our Fire Apparatus. They were hard to find. Etrailer had them at an economical price and shipped them to us quick.
These will work as replacement reflectors for my vintage Clenet Series 1 (#88)
