Today we're going to take a look at the Bulldog Winch Mount for the Jeep JL models with the factory steel winch ready front bumper.Now, this is a custom steel winch mount and fairlead plate for the Jeep JL models that have the factory steel winch ready bumper. The mount right here is what'll bolt onto the frame. There's no drilling or cutting required. The winch mount does use the industry standard 10" by 4-1/2" bolt pattern, which will fit most winches. The fairlead plate right here, this'll bolt to existing holes in the front face of the factory bumper, and has the industry standard 10" center to center fairlead bolt pattern.The kit will include all the mounting hardware. Does include Torx bolts.
That's to install, to mount the fairlead plate to your vehicle, and these Torx bolts do match the factory bolts that are on the bumper. It does also include this nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how to install everything with pictures.But that should do it for the review on the Bulldog Winch Mount for the Jeep JL model with the factory steel winch ready front bumper.

I installed this on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave with the Jeep OEM Steel Bumper. The install was pretty quick and easy. This winch plate seems like good quality. The mount is thick and sturdy.
etrailer was great to order from. The winch plate is built solid enough for a tank and fit the stock steel bumper on my 2021 Wrangler perfectly. I'm very happy with how fast shipping was processed and the condition of the product on arrival. Couldn't ask for anything more. If you are installing the Badlands 12000lb winch you may want to do some extra measuring & either raise or offset the winch so the freespool handle does not hit the bumper. An afterthought on my part, but Ill just grind it down at a later time.
It was exactly what I needed for my OEM steel Rubicon bumper. My winch sits nicely down in the bumper on the plate. I have decent clearance for the winch wiring without rubbing on the grill.

I installed it a year ago , I have only used the winch 3 times so far . No problems so far !
I used this product with a warren 10k. If you don’t have a torch don’t buy it. Trimming was required to install winch. This is the second heavy item that came from etrailer in a thin cardboard box. Box was damaged when I received it. The first one had missing parts this one had missing bolts I had to replace. etrailer needs to up there game on packaging materials. Tired of waiting on replacement parts or replacing hardware myself to get going.
Plate/mount installed pretty easy on my 2020 Rubi with stock steel bumper. Would recommend
