Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Very disappointed, The tire was received with no air pressure and the tire bead was not seated to the tire rim on one side. When I tried to fill the tire with air from my air compressor, the value stem broke off.
I called etrailer and they referred me to the Kenda warranty department. Called Kenda and left a message (no one answered) and also sent an email with pic's.
I needed this for my snowmobile trailer, and the season is running short.
Not sure if I will order another tire from etrailer again. I have had good experience with other items I have ordered from etrailer. Was hopping etrailer would just send me another tire right away. Now I have to deal with Kendra.
Bought 2 for snowmobile trailer. One is completely flat and off the bead every time I look at trailer. Using dunk tank found 2 holes in center of tread. Very low miles, maybe 40, with one mile of gravel. Only thought is gravel poked holes in soft rubber. Needless to say I do not really trust the tires and am afraid to go to fast or far with them. etrailer told me to contact tire manufacturer.
I was trailering a 650+ pound boat and motor on little 8 inch tires and knew I was on borrowed time before a highway blowout. These upped my load capacity from 575 to 990 pounds. Ordered two sets of rims/tires as replacements plus a spare. They came well-boxed.Manufacturing date was about 10 months ago. Changed them in my driveway with a small floor jack placed under the axle right under the leaf springs in less than an hour, with the boat on the trailer. As others mentioned, the galvanizing is thorough but rough in spots. Be sure to check tire pressure before installing;mine arrived with very little air in them. Quick shipping. A good value. These tires and rims are great! I replaced the basic standard wheels and tires that came with my 4 X 6 trailer to pull behind my motorhome. The trailer is used for utility purposes and carries our three bicycles. I wanted tires and rims that would handle both the weight and highway speeds, up to about 75 to 80 mph. The wider wheels and tires also gave more stability to the trailer, and it now also tracks very well behind the motorhome. Great product!
The tire & wheel is going to be used as a spare on a 2023 Marlon boat trailer. I was kind of nervous about the hole spacing because my measurements weren’t really accurate.
It was a perfect fit & the galvanizing is nice & thick on the wheel. The tire is exactly the same diameter as mine & I couldn’t be happier..

I bought two of this tire/wheel combo for my trailer to replace what came with it originally. etrailer had the best price and the tires arrived within a couple days of placing my order.
Nice wheels I blacked out the center with flat black the did a clear coat. Gave it a more define look.
I love the new tires...I put them on a galvanized boat trailer I bought in the mid 1990's, I have gone thru 3 sets of rims over the time as the white painted rims would pit...then rust. The other issue was they were only 4.8" x 8" tires but trailer had fenders to accommodate 12" tires. Don't know why I waited so long but purchased larger 4.8" x 12" tires with galvanized rims, what a difference. etrailer helped me select the needed tires and price was great compared to what local stores had, and no one locale had galvanized rims.
etrailers' prices are fantastic and had my 3 tires and rims in a few days, great turnaround time. Will see how the tires last as we are still in the depth of winter here in the northeast.
I use my trailer 2 to 4 times a month all year round and have put about 1200 miles on these tires. I am happy with these wheels and would recommend them.
Nice combination for heavy duty tire and wheel. Building a trailer to carry 3000 lbs and needed small diameter tires. 4 of these will do nicely. I do wish the galvanized finish was more consistent in appearance but that wasn’t a major consideration in purchasing them.
This wheel was purchased as a spare tire for my boat trailer for future use it is mounted on the trailer at this time so I’m unable to make a comment on its actual use
I bought these wheels for my Harbor Freight trailer, 1 year ago. They have been fantastic!
I trailer a dirtbike(s) 150-300'lbs, and it rides so smooth in the back, I don't even know I have a trailer hooked to my car.
I did not trust the original tires for the speed I occasionally drive, they weren't 'safe' for me. The 13" Loadstars are massive in comparison, and give a Much better/smoother ride, and because they have a much higher speed rating, feel safe when going above the limit. I would buy again, 100%. Love them.

We purchased these to upgrade the wheels and tires on our PWC Trailer to put a little more surface rubber on the road prior to a move from GA to FL (approximately 500 miles).
