Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Very happy with my purchase, hopefully I will never have to use the spare tire, but I'm glad I have it if I do need it. Also, customer service, was awesome, Kimberly was very Helpful, she helped me pick out my spare tire and my spare tire cover. Very happy with my purchase

Using for a spare tire and wheel but haven’t put on the ground yet. Still holding air pressure
Finally found a good tire package for my car hauler. Most sites had low value and not the proper size I had been looking for. Hard to find 5/5 trailer rim/tire locally as most utility trailers use 5/4.5- But not an issue for etrailer! In stock, good price and fast shipping!
Absolutely satisfied with my purchase from eTrailer! The tire/wheel came within a couple days, and mounted very easily to my camper trailer bumper! Also used the Ultra-Fab Folding Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers and RVs - Bumper Mount - UF15-954730 to mount the tire/wheel.

I purchased this tire for a spare for my new utility trailer. This is a Karrier / Load Star tire. I have had theses before on my boat trailer and have had good service from them. The trailer dealer wanted $150 plus tax for a spare with a name I’ve never heard of. I saved over $50! Excellent price, super-fast free shipping and no sales tax! What a deal! The product was a spare trailer tire. I have not used it yet because my tires have not gone flat. The spare tire is still excellent quality and on standby.

Awesome product. I have been running this tire/wheel combination on my trailer for more than 10 years. Very durable and dependable tires.The cost was $10 more that It would cost to order same product from nearest trailer supplier; 50 Miles away. So, less than cost of fuel to pick-up, after waiting a week to come in.
This assembly arrived at my door in 4 days. Perfect.

The customer support was outstanding!! I was assisted in choosing the correct lug hole pattern for the trailer I have.
