Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this red LED light strip. This light strip is eight inches long and it's right about 5/16 of an inch wide and only about 1/8 of an inch thick. And it is going to give you that nice red light to light up any dimly lit areas inside or outside your car. If I turn off my studio lights here, you can see how bright those lights are gonna be.
It's gonna give us 180 degrees for each bulb, so it's gonna give us lots of different light for our cars, SUVs, boats, or trailers. This is gonna be very easy to install. You just have to peel off the backing here and that will give you your access to the adhesive on the backside there. Just stick it down wherever you want it to be and that is a 3M adhesive backing on there so it's gonna be very durable. Then you'll just need to wire into a 12-volt power source if you want to have the lights on anytime your vehicle was running or you can wire it to your brake lights so that the lights will come on when you have your brake light, when you press on the brake.
You can also add in an optional switch that is sold separately that will allow you to determine when you want the lights to come on. You have manual control that way with that switch. This is gonna be a very, very flexible and resilient material so it's gonna allow you to install this just about anywhere. It's gonna be great for fitting around curves, on sharp angles, that sort of thing. The outside is a waterproof material so you're not gonna have to worry about mounting this where it can get wet.
This will hold up well for you. The LEDs on there are really nice long-lasting LEDs that are gonna provide that 180 degrees of illumination as I mentioned before. There are going to be 12 of those light-emitting diodes on our strip here. So this is going to be for off-road use. This does not meet Department of Transportation specifications so you want to be careful to only use it where appropriate.
Overall, I think this is gonna be a great way to add some style, some flash to your vehicle, to really illuminate, give it some accent. So that's gonna complete our look at this LED light strip. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Perfect for ground effects.I've placed many orders and have always been satisfied. This time, my order was very poorly packaged. One of these LED strips has a very hard fold due to being crammed in a box way too small. This LED strip is most likely damaged. Hopefully the customer service is good. All my other orders have been great.
Purchased (2) 2-3 months ago and one of them failed. Lights are bright and install was easy. Purchased a replacement and we will see. The price is good, maybe just got a bad one.

The lights are working perfectly. They are being used to illuminate our mailbox (indirect lighting). I inquired about the current draw and was told that the manufacturer didn't have a spec other than they are 12 volt. The measured current draw is 0.08 amps at 12 volts and 0.120 amps at 14 volts.
The 17 foot long LED strip lights are a joke. The adhesive strip on the back didnt hold for more than 15 mins after turning them on. Despite prepping the area with acetone and a lint free cloth before installation. Very disappointing, I will order another touch light as it works incredibly well.
I ordered some LED strip lights. They were out of stock temporarily. But they came in pretty quick very satisfied.
Functions as intended, very strong, provides safe access to boat while loaded,easy installation, still appears to be new after a year of outdoor storage. Happy camper!!!
