Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

These upped my load capacity from 575 to 990 pounds. Ordered two sets of rims/tires as replacements plus a spare. They came well-boxed.Manufacturing date was about 10 months ago. Changed them in my driveway with a small floor jack placed under the axle right under the leaf springs in less than an hour, with the boat on the trailer. As others mentioned, the galvanizing is thorough but rough in spots. Be sure to check tire pressure before installing;mine arrived with very little air in them. Quick shipping. A good value. I'm happy. Recommended.
This is my iceboat trailer with new wheels and improved fender brackets. Rust prevention is my main goal on this order. The price was lower than the local store. The delivery was completed in under 48 hours. Amazing! I believe the former white painted wheels were purchased about 10 years ago. They need restoration. The tires might have 2000 miles on them. I recommend galvanized wheels as in this new order. Two wheel and tires for under $100!! Fantastic – and much cheaper than the local tire dealer who offers white painted wheels that rust - by over $20. And free shippng.
By the way, each fender now has two brackets as suggested by eTrailer.
These galvanized wheels were perfect for my utility trailer. Great price, delivered fast, installed easily and make the trailer look new.

After several trailer loads, my tires and wheels still function like new. I wanted to fix it and forget it. Done! Recommended.
Great tire/wheel combo. Fit perfectly. Came inflated to around 50 PSI, so was ready to use once installed. Delivery was very clean. Both wheels packed in a long, narrow box. Easy to handle. Would buy this again.

My whole experience from start to finish couldn't have gone any smoother. i called eTrailer with alot of questions. I needed to go from an 8 inch tire to a 12" tire,they were nice,knowledgeable and pateint. i found the tires and the wheels i wanted and had them within two days of ordering. just put them on my boat trailer and they look great!

its been over a year since i got these tires. After many trips and many miles they are still working great. Would and will definitely buy these again.
Horrible Quality! Rim had many manufacturer defects and was bent and out of balance since day one. The tire was properly inflated and had a blowout after only a few hundred miles. Quality control is lacking. Spend your money on a quality rim and tire. This isn't one!
The tires look good but the wheels have a few rough welds that appear to be where the wheel seams...ugly. The edge of the wheels also are iregular shaped at certain points. I do hope the wheels hold up without cracking at the seams.
They fit good and look good on the trailer. A lot safer than the tire that I took off.
I chose to purchase my trailer tires and wheels from e-trailer because I consider them the leader in the field. I shopped hard, and the price was good. When my galvanized 4-lug, 6-ply, 12" wheels arrived they were even better than I hoped.

Ordered a pair of Kenda 4.80-12 trailer tires and galvanized rims, Item AM30630. Excellent quality products, well packaged and delivered promptly. Got 'em today, very satisfied, and they make my little firewood trailer look like a million bucks.
The tire I had originally picked on etrailer for my motorcycle trailer was out of stock but I needed them for a motorcycle trip I was leaving for that same week. Still very happy with my trailer tires! Great product and I have had zero issues with them.
Very nice rim and tires, great and fast delivery, only negative issue is rims are galvanized and finish is not appealing, had I know I would of saved money and bought white for $XX less now it will cost me to have them powder coated

Yes, these wheels are dipped in a galvanized solution and allowed to drip dry which can make for a rough finish. This is typical with galvanized wheels from this manufacturer.
I don't use the trailer as much but when I do I usually overload it not really knowing the wait of the load mostly fresh wood chips. But the tires, they have been holding up and not splitting in half!
I give it five stars for availability of products. This is the second time trailer has been able to provide a product I needed in a timely manner. I did buy the lessor expensive item of choice instead of the better item so I’m not complaining, but the finish on the galvanized wheels is a little rough. Hopefully it will hold up a while and not quickly rust.

Finish is still holding up well on my wheels and the tires are still going strong.
Happy with this purchase and the customer support received. When I first ordered I didn't realize there was a galvanized wheel, nor that there was a tire with a higher load capacity in the size I needed. etrailer sent me a shipping label to return the first tire, and I wound up getting two. One year later, no rust on the rims, tires have been performing well on my canoe trailer, and holding their air well. Stored outside, my only concern is that weather will 'retire' them before mileage does which is typical of any trailer tire I think.
Bought to tires and this wheel and tire as a spare. My 2 tires of the same model are fine on my lightweight trailer. The wheel looks good although I have never run it on the road. I would buy it again if I needed one.
One year later and a thousand miles, and these rims and tires have held up excellent. No rust on the rims and the tires are wearing evenly.
Put these on my boat trailer as the original ones were dry rotted. Wheels look better than the painted ones. Tires are good quality.No more tire worries!

The trailer sat in the woods all summer,since it is a iceboat trailer used in winter. I just pulled it home from the cabin. The wheels look perfect. They have a silver finish, not white paint. Happy!
