Can I go from a 175/80D/13 to a 4.8/8x12 tire on my boat trailer. It’s hauling an 89 18ft bluefin. It is on a shore lander trailer

You will need to ensure that you will not have any ground clearance issues with your ShoreLand'r trailer before moving to the smaller tires. Your current Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire # AM3S130 is going to be 24" tall and 6.6" wide. The Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire # AM30630 that you would be switching to is 20.7" tall and and 4.9" wide. Your trailer will drop 1.65" from the smaller tires.

You will also need to ensure you have enough weight capacity with the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire # AM30630 as they are rated for 1,250lbs per tire.
