This T-connector wiring harness uses your factory tow package to add a 7-way socket in your truck bed while also retaining the use of the 7-way at your vehicle's bumper. The harness plugs into the back of your 7-way at the bumper and also into your factory wiring. And it provides 10 feet of cord to run the second 7-way connector to your truck bed. My overall experience though was very good though. The trailer wiring harness I ordered was $140 cheaper than the dealership it was shipped promptly and arrived promptly thank you etrailer. I knew that a company dealing with thousands of products that mistakes are going to be made so I took a chance and you should too.
I ordered this plug to replace a splice job done by a rv company. The previous plug was installed in the pillar next to the tailgate so clearance was a big issue. This plug with the two smaller gray plugs went in with a breeze. And now if I have any issues I can unplug and replace if need be. No more fighting a wire splice.

After doing some research and trying to figure out what style and brand of ball mount to get…..I settled on this B&W product. Its nice to have the ability to adjust your ball mount for different trailers just in case you need to. Being a machinist, I found that this was very well made……no burrs anywhere, clean welds, very nice powder coat finish and packed in heavy duty cardboard to prevent hopefully no issues with shipping.
15 minutes after wiring harness was delivered, it was installed. My husband drilled the 2 1/8” hole & I snapped the harness together. Done
Great experience with E trailer. Great costumer service, the right parts got shipped the first time. Easy package tracking on your phone too. Definitely will shop again will E trailer.

The product is still working out great.
Customer service helped me pick out a plug n' play system for my truck. It was incredibly easy to install! I had returned 3 that I bought from box stores that would not work or I had to cut wires.
Fits perfectly. Makes for a factory quality installation.
Good product. Shipping was aceptable. I would like to have the pack of the 7 pin and wiring harness sealed from the elements. The location behind the rear wheel will definitely kick up a lot of mud and water on back of this connector. I taped it with about a roll of black tape to help keep the elements out. The end with the factory plugs worked great. Plugged in to my factory wiring harness. I also replaced my trailer wiring harness with the OEM harness.Both of these worked together eliminating having to splice into my factory trailer wiring harness.

Good as new no problems
I was looking for the wiring harness to replace the one on my 2002 F350, even the dealers couldn't find what I needed.
I went surfing the Internet and found exactly what I was looking for. I want to send kudos to etrailer for their quick service and keeping me informed about my order.
I received the plug-in harness yesterday and installed it today.
If a 70 year old woman can do it, anybody can.

After a year, still no problems.
Just installed this as a bumper hitch version, did a service loop with the unused wiring and tie-wrapped everything up tight. Yes, grabbed a four pole adapter for it. I haven't towed with it yet but the continuity check is good, the wiring and connectors are well made and protected, and if needed I'd buy this product again.

I am very pleased with my purchase. From the sales person (Donna) to the follow up after being shipped (Carol C) to the tech support I am very impressed with the whole experience. I received in an excellent time-frame , 24 hours later installed, hooked up and rolling down the road. If I need any product in the future I know where my go to source will be.

I bought this wiring adaptor to provide for an in-bed connection for my slide-in truck camper.
I wanted my connection to be at the front of the bed so the length of this adaptor was a concern. But I had PLENTY of length and reaching from the rear of the truck to the front of the bed wasn't an issue at all. In fact, I had about 1 extra foot to spare.
Installation was as easy as I had hoped. It plugged right into existing harness and I was up and running in about 2 hours - which includes time to drill the hole in the bed of my truck, time to adequately drill a hole for the grounding wire, time to zip tie the wire to the frame. My only complaint (and its a small one) is that the kit could've come with more zip ties. I needed to dip into my own stock of them to properly secure the cord to the frame of the truck.
I hauled my camper just this past weekend and everything worked flawlessly.
I gladly recommend this product. Fast shipping, great customer support, no problems at all. Thanks guys.
Replaced the factory 5th wheel harness with the 40167 harness on my 2003 f350 Super Duty 6.0L long bed. Snap fit! I also added a bumper mount Pollack 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer connector HM40975-11998 Vehicle end splicing in my old 7-Pole factory plug (pulled the red insulator out of the factory plug end) to connect the the HM40975-11998 plug. I can now connect in the bed or to a pull behind with a 7 or 4 way. Slide in camper, 5vr, or trailer is now no problem. Thanks etrailer!
Excellent product. Easily installed and worked exactly as advertised. Got my fifth wheel wiring inside my pickup box like it should be and lit up and my four wheeler trailer lights up like its supposed to. Thanks for an excellent product.

Used as replacement for factory trailer tow wire harness 2C3Z-13A576-DA that i lost shim for on one side and clip broke on the other.

Great product. Installation was easy. Works great. Use it to pull my 28 foot gooseneck trailer. My old trailer plug wouldn't let me use my trailer brakes and this one does. Awesome product would recommend it to anyone.
Tried to get this part at local trailer shop. Was told that the only option was a 5th wheel split, that occurs at the back of the bumper plug. I wanted a split at the factory plug, reducing the risk of losing both plugs due to corrosion at bumper plug. E trailer had what I wanted, it was less than local shop and I had it in about a week. E- trailer is now on my go to list. Thank You.
great product, for goose neck and fifth wheel trailers,plugs in easily to existing wiring, stops the plug from pulling out from the rear.
Initially shipped wrong product but not their problem. Seems my 2002 F-350 model year had two different connectors. Contacted them and they immediately shipped out a replacement. They also gave me free return of the original part.
Customer service was very nice and provided prompt service.
Very pleased with ETrailer. Delivery was incredibly fast. The only reason this product is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no self-tapping screw provided for the grounding wire. Considering that everything else is included, it doesn't make sense to leave that piece of hardware out.
The wiring harness I got you s for my 5th wheel plug. It got rid of all the splices that was all corroded and didn’t work. The new one has taken care of that problem.
This product was of high quality and fit as instructed. It cured the problems I had with a harness that was spliced together with the guillotine connectors that always seem to corrode. The help I received from etrailers product support removed any doubt about the product I needed and the shipping was extremely fast. I will put all of my trailer needs online with etrailer.
I just installed this today. Once I figured out where I the location it only took 15 minutes to install. The connectors look to be the same quality as the original equipment.
