Options for Installing 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 7-Way in Bed of 1996 Ford F-250
Question:
I need something very much like: Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug Item # 40167 However, this item does not have the correct plug ends for my 1996 F-350. Do you carry any such product or at least an adapter to retro fit this item to a 96

Expert Reply:
If the 7-way you have at the rear of your 1996 has a round connector like what you can see in the attached picture I have a really easy solution for a 5th wheel 7-way with the part # 41157 but we don't have anything like the 40167 that would fit your truck. The 41157 installs inline with the standard 7-way connector like what you most likely have at the rear of your truck.
Otherwise you'd have to hardwire in the 7-way with the # 20023.
