In order to install a 4- and 7-Way on your 2004 Ford F-350 you will first need to install # C55265. This will plug right into the port in the picture you sent. It does look like there are some loose wires there that you will need to hardwire to a 7-Way. For a 4/7-Way I recommend # 37185. the 4-Way will plug into it and then you will need to hardwire the remaining wires.

White is ground and should attach to the truck frame. Blue is output to electric brakes. Black is 12 volt power. Purple will splice into the reverse light wire unless not needed.

The wiring for the electric brake output and 12 volt circuits should be present already under the truck. I have linked a help article that explains how you would access these wires. You would need to go down to the Factory Installed 4-Way section of the help article.

Another option if you do not want to hardwire in a 7/4-Way connector is to use wiring harness # 40167 and then replace the 7-Way part with 7 and 4-Way connector # HM40950.
