After watching some of the videos I am now confused. I have a 2006 Ford F250 SD w/ tow package, I was going to order the 40167, now I am not sure if it will be the correct harness to plug into my existing bumper connection?

There are several 5th wheel and gooseneck trailer wiring harnesses that you could install in your 2006 Ford F-250. I have included a link to them for you to view. For Hopkins you could use # 41157.

The harness that you have referenced # 40167 is designed to fit 2002 to 2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks.
