I am very happy with this hitch. It arrived on time and well packed so it wasn’t all beat up before I even installed it. Installation was a breeze and the hitch was a perfect fit. Bolt holes lined up perfectly. It has been a year since I installed it and no signs of rust so far not even on the welds. I live in Florida and I frequently use boat ramps which means a high salt environment. Excellent job on the coating! I am very happy with this product and with Etrailer and I would recommend them without hesitation.

2018 jeep Grand Cherokee
My 2018 Grand Cherokee didn’t have a hitch. This system it tight to the bottom of the bumper kinda looks stock. I really like the round tubes it mad from, a lot nicer then the square tube I had on 2012 Grand Cherokee. It’s still rust free makes the back of the truck look tough!! I would Recommend it to anyone

Jeep Grand Cherokee
It was an easy installation on my 2022 WK Grand Cherokee. I did that in a shop (where I work) like 8 mins w/second pair of hands but I’m sure you can do it on your driveway. I moved the spec label to the left side avoid dirt and heat from the muffler, lastly make sure you torque it 126lbs!!!

It’s been a year, I’ve carrying both of my emtb and mtb roughly 100lbs all over everywhere. This things is bulletproof, I re-torque once just to be safe side!!

I'm a year in with my E trailer hitch. I installed on my 2013 Dodge Durango RT. Installation was simple. Using bolts right from the frame was convenient. Towing has been as expected. Happy with my purchase to upgrade my durango.

Worked at multiple custom/accessory shops and this has to be the easiest hitch ive ever installed. Did it by myself in about 6-8 minutes, no jack needed. Just a 13/16 socket and a good ratchet

Bought this hitch from etrailer mainly for bike rack and some light trailer hauling. I thought the hitch might be more noticeable after installed, but it tucks in under the bumper nicely and looks good. 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
This was a very simple install on the 2018 Grand Cherokee. Only had to remove the recovery hook and bolts, then pop in place. Less than a one hour job.

I bought the hitch below and installed according to instructions and it seems to sit low/awkward on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Can you please advise as to why? I may have received the wrong hitch?

An pin hole is too close to the cross bar and I cant use a locking pin for this unit only way I can use it if I use a regular pin and its very tight

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Perfect fit in 2105 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Literally completed the installation in under 15 minutes. Removed four bolts, held unit in place, reinstalled four bolts, done. Never even jacked the jeep up. While under the jeep verified the factory wiring harness at the rear bumper facade and ordered the wire kit from etrailer.

Hitch seems to be of great quality. Word to the wise, be careful torquing your M14 bolts to the specifications in the instructions provided with the hitch. It must be a little too high. One of my M14 bolts broke while torquing to the instructed 126 ft lbs. Now I'm having to figure out where to go to get the broken bolt removed etc... Providing a three star review as I feel the instructions may need to be reviewed and changed.

Installing the receiver was very easy. It does help to have a friend hold up the receiver while lining up the holes and threading in the screws. The e trailer hitch fit perfectly onto the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Going to use the hitch for a cargo carrier and also for a bike rack.

Arrived with a small scuff to the front of the hitch receiver which is unfortunately visible. Relatively easy driveway install - the biggest challenge was loosening the existing hardware but was able to manage by myself. Install video was appreciated and helpful

Great product, fast delivery and great customer service. I installed onto a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hitch was a perfect fit and it only took about 30 minutes to complete. Primary purpose for this hitch is for a bike rack, but I'm sure it'll get other uses as well.
Torque the bolts to the required torque. That is the most important installation step.

Was extremely easy to install and since I was using it for just a bike rack I didn’t need to do any wiring. Have another set of hands to install it would have been helpful but I was able to get it done by myself using a couple blocks of wood to hold up the other side. Would highly recommend this product and etrailer

Just installed my new etrailer on my 2020 dodge Durango, I can honestly say that I’m impressed by it, it’s definitely a two man job but the install was super easy. Didn’t even have to remove my spare tire
