The install of the Curt trailer wiring harness part # C56208 would not be difficult but since it does require removing several rear interior panels it will most likely an hour or two depending on how hard you "hustle" through the install. If you have a tight schedule and want to make sure you allot enough time I would give yourself a 2 hour window just to be safe.
I attached an install video for this kit that will walk you through the entire process on a similar 2017 Jeep Cherokee. view full answer...
Yes. You cannot use the Roadmaster # RM-521453-5 base plates with an aftermarket bumper. If you've already got an aftermarket bumper that has D rings you can use the # RM-035-1 (for 1" D rings) or # RM-035 (for 3/4" D-rings). Both of these adapters are compatible with Roadmaster tow bars, but you will need a Roadmaster tow bar that mounts in the receiver on your motorhome like the Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520.

The Tekonsha # TK93VR is the correct brake controller harness for your vehicle. The connector that the TK93VR plugs into is located under the dash to the left of the steering column taped to another wiring harness near the emergency brake pedal. In some cases, there's a trim panel under the dash that needs to be removed. If you click the link I've provided to the installation video, you can see where the connector is located at the 1:10 mark. The TK93VR plug is compatible with Tekonsha... view full answer...
The fittings and hose that comes with the Derale transmission cooler part # D13503 would be all you'd need to install it on your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Some vehicles require special adapters but yours does not. view full answer...
The Curt Custom Base Plate Kit, # C38FR is a confirmed fit to your 2012 Jeep Wrangler but it does not appear that your older style Demco ExcaliBar tow bar will mate to it without purchasing additional adapters. And yes the bumper will need to be removed for installation. I suggest you go with a matching brand base plate to your already existing tow bar, such as the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit, # DM9519292. view full answer...
I went ahead and confirmed with MORryde that the plastic trim piece shown in your provided photo is the standard trim molding on your 2006 Jeep X Model. With the Fender Mounted Jerry Can Holder for Jeep Wrangler TJ and YJ # MR69MR, you won't have a problem with installing the Jerry Can Holder with the plastic rim piece left on your vehicle. view full answer...
I did some checking on whether your 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo can be flat towed and if the vehicle has the Quadra Track II or Quadra Drive II 4WD it can be flat towed. But if you have the Quadra Trac I it cannot be flat towed. How you'll know this is if the transfer case has a neutral position. If it does, then it's flat towable.
The Roadmaster base plate kit part # 1427-1 that you referenced would then be the correct fit.
In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible... view full answer...
Thank you for purchasing the Draw-Tite # 75699 and Wiring Harness # 118425 for your 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee directly from us! I can tell you that since this harness plugs in behind the tail lights it will not require you to see the dealer to activate the tow package wiring circuit. You would only need to see a dealer for a wiring harness that plugs into the tow package port.
I have added links to video installs of both products on an '11 Grand Cherokee for you as well. view full answer...
The installation of the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521446-4 does require removing the hooks at the front of your Trailhawk.
I have attached the installation instructions you can check out. There may be some trimming of the spoiler, air dam, grill, or fascia required. The instructions have some great photos that will help with installation.
If you are not familiar with flat-towing, I have attached a helpful article that you can check out. If you need a tow bar to go with... view full answer...
What you are seeing is normal. When the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR is at a stop and it can't sense a change in inertia it would not apply the vehicle brakes like it would if the vehicle was moving. view full answer...
The 30 amp fuse will be fine for installing the BrakeRite EHB # T4813100. A lot of aftermarket hardwired 7-Way connectors use a 40 amp circuit breaker which is probably why Titan included that in the diagrams within the instructions for the actuator. In the actual text, step 4.1, it states, "For both the BrakeRite EHB & BrakeRite II SD 12 gauge or larger wire must be run from the towing vehicle battery to the BrakeRite with either a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker for protection."

There are different that fittings you will need for your 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0L engine than the ones you mentioned in order to install the Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit # D13960.
Your '02 Grand Cherokee should have a 3/8" rubber hose (though I do recommend verifying this), so what you will need instead is the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for Dodge and Jeep # D13028. view full answer...
The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251 is going to be connected to your vehicle's battery to be powered which will drain your vehicle's battery. To keep the battery charged while towing you can install the BrakeBuddy Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Kit Item # BB54FR. You'll still be able to disconnect the negative battery cable like the manual indicates for flat towing. view full answer...
The Pavement Ends Replay Soft Top Fabric for Jeep - Tinted Windows # PE5114815 is just the vinyl top and it requires the factory OEM bow kit to support it (see attached photo). If you have the OEM bow kit installed then this will work.
If you don't have the OEM bow system then I recommend going with a soft top that does not require the bow system, such as the Rampage Trail Top All-Season 2-in-1 Soft Top for Jeep - Tinted Windows # RA109535. This is a similar setup which also features tinted... view full answer...
The Roadmaster Invisbrake # RM-8700 will trickle charge your battery with 2amps (only while the RV's headlights are on) to supplement the battery power it's using to run. You probably have more things running off of your battery in the Jeep than you did in your F-150 and that's what caused the battery to drain.
I recommend getting the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 to help keep your battery charged. view full answer...
We have a tow bar that will work for your 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with an aftermarket bumper that has D-rings, and the adapters are all designed to work with either Roadmaster or Blue Ox tow bars. The Roadmaster adapters are easily the best value, and will work with D-rings that have either 1" or 3/4" thick shackles:
- Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts - 1" Thick # RM-035-1
- Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts - 3/4" Thick # RM-035

We actually recommend doing this exact install a lot of the time. Using a 6-way, like part # PK12720 for an example, at the vehicle's front allows you to install additional wiring for a braking system or charge line but doing it this way makes it an easier install because the Hopkins # HM56202 is the easiest to install harness for your 2004 Jeep. view full answer...
Are you speaking of the Tekonsha Prodigy RF? If so, the trailer connector on the vehicle needs funtional lighting circuits and a 12-volt constant power supply to the pin on the 7-way trailer that's in the 1:00 position. Assuming that you're using an adapter such as the # 37185, you'd plug the 4 pin plug on the adapter into the corresponding plug on the vehicle, ground the white wire to the vehicle chassis or frame and extend the black wire so it'll reach the vehicle's positive battery terminal.... view full answer...
The Curt # C13363 Class III receiver hitch you'd looked at is indeed a fit for your 2019 Jeep Compass.
The short and direct answer: I've looked over the 'Trailer Towing' section of your owner's manual, and found no blanket prohibitions that forbid trailer towing for your vehicle as long as your Compass is equpped with the 9 speed transmission and is a 4 WD model. As long as the stated 2000 lb towing/200 lb tongue weight capacities are observed, you'll have no negative warrantly impliations.... view full answer...
A trailer hitch will absolutely not cause any type of check engine light to go on - that will be something completely separate on your vehicle.
The only Curt hitches that fit a 2019 Jeep Cherokee are the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13171 and Curt Trailer Hitch # C13395 though I was unable to find which one you have as I could not locate an order number for you. Though both of these hitches sit in front of the exhaust, neither will affect your check engine light and you should definitely have... view full answer...
