The installation of the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521446-4 does require removing the hooks at the front of your Trailhawk.

I have attached the installation instructions you can check out. There may be some trimming of the spoiler, air dam, grill, or fascia required. The instructions have some great photos that will help with installation.

If you are not familiar with flat-towing, I have attached a helpful article that you can check out. If you need a tow bar to go with the EZ4 base plates, I recommend the RoadMaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar, part # RM-522. For safety cables I recommend part # RM-645.

The lighting I recommend for your Jeep is part # RM-154. I have attached a link to an installation video you can take a look at.

Most states now require a supplemental brake system. The system I recommend is part # RM-9400. I have attached a link to an installation video for this brake system.

If your Cherokee has 4 wheel drive or the Active Drive II system, to maintain the vehicle's stable steering while being flat towed you will want to install the Mopar accessory kit 68321424AB, available from your Jeep dealer. This kit will prevent the Cherokee's steering from shaking while being flat towed.
