Soft Top For 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport That Does Not Require OEM Bow System

I am interested in the Pavement Ends Soft Top / Item # PE5114815 What does requires bow system mean? I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport.

The Pavement Ends Replay Soft Top Fabric for Jeep - Tinted Windows # PE5114815 is just the vinyl top and it requires the factory OEM bow kit to support it (see attached photo). If you have the OEM bow kit installed then this will work.
If you don't have the OEM bow system then I recommend going with a soft top that does not require the bow system, such as the Rampage Trail Top All-Season 2-in-1 Soft Top for Jeep - Tinted Windows # RA109535. This is a similar setup which also features tinted windows. I attached a demonstration video to give you some more insight on this soft top for your 1999 Jeep Wrangler.
