Can Hopkins HM56202 be Wired into 6-Way Connector on Front of Towed Vehicle
Question:
Hello, I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ that I tow behind my motorhome. I purchased your Hopkins Towed Wiring kit #56202 that connected perfectly to my taillights. My question is that I have a Roadmaster 6 pin connector installed on my Jeep. I was wondering if I could just cut off the 4 pin connector on the Hopkins kit and wire the appropriate Yellow L turn, Green R turn and Brown tail light connections to the 6 pin on the jeep 6 wire socket. Do I just wire the White Ground from the 6-wire socket to the Frame of the Jeep?

Absolutely!
We actually recommend doing this exact install a lot of the time. Using a 6-way, like part # PK12720 for an example, at the vehicle's front allows you to install additional wiring for a braking system or charge line but doing it this way makes it an easier install because the Hopkins # HM56202 is the easiest to install harness for your 2004 Jeep.
