Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Good quality tires used daily for hauling lawn mower during the summer months
Bought for a very lightweight trailer to haul a motorcycle behind my Prius, shhh LOL.
gross was 700 pounds Installed and drove 1000 plus miles at speeds of 60 to 70 MPH tires worked flawlessly checked tread temps several times and tires stayed at ambient temperature. Quite happy with purchase.
Switched from 4.80 x 8 with painted wheel to the 165/65-8 tire and galvanized wheel to increase load capacity and footprint on soft ground. The quality of the wheel and galvanizing seem very good and the tires are great.
I also installed a pair of CE Smith 17700G fenders that also fit and look good.
Already on and look great.

These tire sizes are hard t find nowadays. It's nice to know a few places still have them. They look and work great!
Excellent customer service! Tire quality looks good ( only time will tell ). Rim quality I give three stars. I ordered two of these for my boat trailer. One rim was not made true. The rim was bent. Contacted customer service and they sent out another no charge and sent a RMA for free shipping back. The rims are not the best quality with just a tiny bit of wobble but they run smooth. I would purchase these again. Just make sure they spin straight before you run them down the road. Air pressure in these tires was only at 10 psi and the other at 40 psi out of the box so make sure you air them up to 70 psi before use. Good company I would not hesitate to order again.

1 year later and still working well! No complaints.
Just what I was looking for at a great price. Had 12" narrow tires on my pontoon trailer. These 8" wide tires lowered my trailer 4" so I don't have to back my bunk trailer in the water so far to get my pontoon on and off. It also tracks better then the narrow tires. Look good to and will not rust. Easy to order and information on tire and rim was very informative.

My wheels were on an unexpected back order. The e-trailer team kept me up to speed on the situation and offered substitute products. I opted to wait the back order out. The customer service was outstanding during the wait process. I'm sure I will be using this company again.

Perfect, exceeded my expectations.
It took over a month to get these wheels due to a manufacturing problem, but ETrailers kept me informed every step of the way. They honored the free shipping and the wheels arrived and appear to be perfect, and at a way better price than if I bought them locally even though they weren't available locally. I'm not sending a picture as they are just like in the pictures on the website and I won't be mounting them until the weather warms up. They are load range c, which is way overboard on the catamaran trailer I'm putting them on. The cat only weighs 300 pounds and the tires can handle 1600 pounds..
We pull around a 500lb ATV on a 6x8 trailer with these tires. The trailer bounces down the road as much as it rolls so we go through tires on a regular basis. We bought these for spares, so we always have a tire on hand for a quick switch, minimizing crew downtime. The tire and rim seem to be of good quality and have lasted at least as long as anything else we have used.

Great step up from the 4.8/4 tires on most small trailers. The tires already have over 3000 miles on them and show very little wear. But to be hones etrailers customer service far exceeded my expectations!
Accurate description, good price, fast delivery with notification. Exactly what was expected. The wide tire/wheel combination allows beach launching the dingy and the original wheels are good spares mounted on the trailer tongue.
wheels and tires worked great on my Sea Doo jet ski trailer.
