Can Smaller Wheels/Tires be Used to Replace Current Wheels/Tires  

Question:

I have a Coleman trailer with 20.5 x 8 - 10 wheels/tires. 5 bolt rims Is is possible to replace these with 16.5 x 6.5 - 8 wheels/tires? 5 bolt rims

You definitely can change to a smaller wheel/tire as long as the weight capacity is high enough for your loaded trailer (it is recommended to have your tires weight rating at least equal to that of your axle). The only time that you would have an issue for fitment is if you have brakes on your trailer.

We do have Kenda 165/65-8 size tires that come with either a white wheel # AM3H220 or a galvanized wheel # AM3H240. Both options have a load range C (800 lbs at 70 psi) and come with wheels that have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
