Are Special Tail Lights Needed for Boat Trailer With Wishbone Trailer Wiring Harness
Question:
I have a boat trialer that is wired up with a wishbone harness. The trialer lights are shot, and I need to replace them. Can I use any set of submersible lights i.e. lights that normally run on a standard flat four, or do I need special lights that hook up to the way that the wishbone harness wires are? Thanks for any help.

The tail lights will be the same for a wishbone trailer wiring harness and a standard wiring harness, the only difference is that instead of splicing the two running light wires in together before running the main lead up to the trailer connector, you simply run one for each side up to the trailer connector.
