Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 42,000 lbs.
Installation
The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your Gen-Y 21K adjustable ball mount to your 2-1/2" hitch. A long pin is used to secure your ball mount platform to the ball mount. The additional long pin is used to secure your pintle hook or other accessory to your ball mount platform.
