Note: To avoid the Tow & Stow hitting steep driveways or curbs, we recommend at least 11" of clearance between the ground and the lowest point of the drop hitch, as seen above.
The B&W Tow & Stow adjustable ball mount lets you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights. Having both a 2" ball and a 2-5/16" ball allows for even more versatility, making this the ultimate go-to ball mount if you own multiple trailers.
To switch the hitch ball, simply remove the pin holding the balls in place and rotate the entire block that the balls are mounted on until the ball you want to use is on top. Then replace the pin to secure the block in place.
Adjusting the height of the ball is just as easy. Remove the pins holding the ball mount platform in place and slide the platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Once you have found the correct height, reinsert the pins and replace the clips.
When you're not towing, you can flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang your shins. Just remove the pins to slide the ball platform down along the channel and up the back side so that the hitch balls face towards your vehicle. Then replace the pins.
The Tow & Stow ball mount features a channel that runs along both sides of the shank. This channel not only allows you to slide the ball mount platform up and down to adjust the ball height, but it also prevents removal of the platform when the ball mount is installed, which will help prevent theft of your trailer.
A slot is cut into the adjustment channel near the top of the shank. To remove the ball mount platform from the shank you will need to remove the entire ball mount from your hitch. Then remove the pins that hold the platform in place. Flip the platform around to the stowed position on the rear of the shank, and then slide it up until the center pin lines up with the slot in the shank. Pull the platform out towards the rear of the shank until the pin pops out of the adjustment channel.
When the Tow & Stow is secured in your hitch receiver, you will not be able to remove the ball mount platform. This is because the slot in the shank is positioned in such a way that the collar on your hitch will block the pin on the platform from being able to leave the channel. Even if the pins holding the ball mount platform in place are removed, the platform will still be confined to this channel. So, as long as a hitch lock is used to secure the entire ball mount in your hitch receiver, and a coupler lock is used to prevent your trailer's coupler from being disengaged from the ball, your trailer will be secure.

This hitch is long enough to accept my Towtector product. Similar to Rock Tamers. Also, Brittany in customer service was awesome to work with as she guided me towards the product that worked for my application.
I love being able to switch ball sizes so easy. Still looks good after a year. 2016 F250 2.5 inch lift. Sometimes the hitch scrapes is the only con I have.
The hitch is perfect. Be careful however as I ordered the wrong one and had to pay shipping to return. etrailer would not help or even get me a discounted rate based on the volume discount I expect they get. Prime would have paid shipping. .

I needed a new ball mount for my 2017 F250 King Ranch (FX4 Off Road). This truck is tall and I needed significant drop to level out my trailer. I had experience with this type mount from my old truck, a 1999 F350, and I used a "Quick Draw" hideaway hitch. Not sure if that is the same as B&W but they look alike. This is a great product and looks great on my new truck. etrailer was super easy to deal with , shipped right away and the product, very heavy, was shipped is a solid shipping box. I also got the locking hitch pin to protect my investment (which was a way better design than the Master Locking pin I had on my old truck). The 7 1/2 inch drop is a perfect fit. Thanks etrailer!

Both products are still performing and looking great. I’ve had numerous people ask where I got them particularly the stowaway hitch and I tell them to check out etrailer.com before they buy locally.
High quality, easy to use, convenient features, superb design. This hitch has performed great, looks great, and the stow ball design and flip ball design is genius and makes it event easier to use/love.

A year later and still looks great. I keep it indoors when not in use and clean it after every time. I really appreciate the adjustability and two ball set up even more with multiple rigs and trailers.
Got my hitch in just 3 days that was fast and made it so I could get my job done 3 days early and the hitch worked perfectly thanks a bunch 9.25
I’ve had a B&W Tow and Stow for many years on my RAM 1500 and just got a new RAM 2500 a much taller truck . This new hitch provides the additional drop I need. Like all the B&W Tow and Stow hitches it’s nice to have the hitch out of the way so you don’t bang a shin into it yet ready to tow in just a minute or two. Keep the pins lubricated and youll enjoy many years of service.
After doing some research and trying to figure out what style and brand of ball mount to get…..I settled on this B&W product. Its nice to have the ability to adjust your ball mount for different trailers just in case you need to. Being a machinist, I found that this was very well made……no burrs anywhere, clean welds, very nice powder coat finish and packed in heavy duty cardboard to prevent hopefully no issues with shipping.
Awesome hitch now I don’t have to fool with two trailerhitches I pull an 18ft equiptment trailer 2in and a 12ft dump 2 5/16 pull pin rotate ball replace pin and I’m on the road heavy built theif proof with just one lock and stow it when not in use no more skins shins oh and best price to
Appears to be well made. Made in America which is what I like to see. Haven’t used the hitch yet so there will be additional evaluation.
Love the product the Stowe and go feature is awesome so you never have to take it completely out. It also eliminated me having to carry multiple receivers in the bed of my truck. I installed the hitch yesterday, have not used it yet. Appears to be a very heavy duty hitch and I really like the "stow" part of the "tow and stow" hitch.

Great product! It's on a 2018 3500 ram truck works great easy to use,I have trailers with 2in and 2.5in hitch just flip ball around to get right ball size. Would buy again.

I love etrailer! They are very quick and accurate. Pricing is as good as anyone. This hitch is perfect for me and I love how it tucks away and does not stick out. Much easier to park in my garage and elsewhere. Excellent service and can't beat B&W quality.
This works great on my SRW Chevrolet 3500 since it will provide the clearance necessary to park the vehicle in my garage. I also like an available anti rattle device for this hitch. Works great!!!!!

Great, best hitch ever
This hitch is high quality and continues to perform flawlessly. I live the pins with silicone lube to keep the parts rust free. The powder coating has held up great and so have the 2” and 2 5/16” balls. This will be my go to hitch from now on.
I have used this hitch for an entire year now. I have pulled three different trailers with this hitch for a total of 30,000 miles in that year with no problems what so ever. One of the best purchases I have ever made like this. So much more convenient than carrying 3 different receivers!
