Changing Ball Height and Replacing Balls
To adjust the height of the ball, remove the included pins so that you are able to slide the ball platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Re-insert the pins once you have found the correct height. Switching the hitch ball is just as easy. Simply remove the pins holding the ball platform in place and slide the platform off of the shank. Flip the platform upside down so that the ball you want to use is on top. Then slide the ball platform back onto the shank and replace the pins and clips.

This truck sits so dang high off the ground (4x4) I was worried about getting the proper range of drop for my different trailers. I used my 7x14 utility trailer as my baseline as it rides the lowest. From ground to bottom of my ball coupler is approx 16in. From ground to top of my hitch receiver is approx 25in. On the lowest setting my trailer sits ever so slightly nose totally empty. Check the pic with level. Once loaded I'm confident it will ride very nice. Plus I have all the range to move up for my taller trailers. Super beefy, seems well built, and I picked up the locking pins to go with. Etrailer as always had a great price and I've been ordering from them for years.
I have a 2018 Ram 2500 and was in the market for a hitch. So as usual I go and check out etrailer. I was initially wanting a 8 inch drop but couldn’t find a style I liked. I personally didn’t want aluminum nothing against them just wanted steel. Finding information sometimes can be difficult so this is my main reason for review. As for etrailer I ordered this on a Tuesday afternoon and was at my house by noon on Wednesday. I was expecting Friday possibly Monday for delivery. This hitch is heavy. Fits in receiver good also stays close to bumper for better handling of to tongue weight and also to save your shin pretty sure you run into this thing you won’t forget it. I haven’t towed with this hitch yet but very confident it will be no problem. I have included some photos to help. This truck is all stock. The only negative if there is one is with the hitch in receiver and you hit a decent bump it does let you know it is in receiver.

Definitely no regrets would buy again.
Sure is beefy. Looks great and was the perfect drop for my stock 2021 Ram Powerwagon. This will allow enough adjustability for my utility trailer, car trailer and anything else I need to haul. Just remember, if you’re using the hitch pin from an previous truck/hitch with a 2” receiver, you may need to order a long receiver hitch pin for this 2 1/2” receiver. Very happy with this hitch.
Very solid, great value for money. 10" was more then i needed, ended up cutting 2" off the bottom so it has more clearance.
I did purchase this trailer hitch ball mount from your company last year. and am extremely happy with it. I unfortunately managed to order the first one with the wrong size receiver shank. Your people were outstanding in assisting me with sending that one back and shipping me one with the proper size shank.

I have been towing my Nissan Titan pickup all over the country using this hitch. It is working very well and as you can see from the picture, I made an adapter that bolts to the top part of the hitch that allowed mm to mount a 2 receiver hitch for a bike rack. I am able to hook up the truck and still have plenty of room for 2 bikes on the bike rack.
I already had this hitches smaller brother, for about 3years.no issues and still looks good.The quality is high up there with the more expensive hitches. I really like the design ( doesn't stick out a mile) Im a big fan of the solid forged shank. Puts my mind at ease. This will definitely take some larger jobs. It's a little loosen my receiver. I already have a plan for that.

This hitch has done everything I needed it to do. The hitch can handle WAY more than my 18’ car trailer can handle. Hasn’t rusted a bit in the last year! Very heavy duty! The only problem I’ve had is if you’ve got a trailer that grounds through the ball it has a very hard time getting a good ground through the hitch because of the coating on the hitch. It’s a double edged sword because that keeps it from rusting but it also keeps it from grounding very well.
Looks great, does exactly what I need it to. Drag my 37ft boat trailer one day and my utility trailer the next.

Very heavy. Seems well made. It’s a tad loose in receiver and where ball mounts to hitch.. will most likely get some rattle but it’s a truck hitch and hopefully it’s not too bad
Very well built and fits tight in the receiver. Ball anchors are solid. Worth the money to purchase

Finally able to level out my cargo trailer.
I'm sure it'll hold up to app of the abuse I'll throw at it.
Good heavy duty hitch. Easy to adjust. Can reverse and Cary the ball mount on the backside of the shank.
I like this hitch due to it's versatility and the fact that I don't have to use the sleeve for my class V receiver. In one day I was able to flip the head and use the 2 5/16" ball so that I could move my travel trailer, flipped it back to 2" ball and lower the head for my landscape trailer and then borrowed friends Utility trailer and raised the head again.

I use this hitch on a regular bases and I feel confident in its ability to handle my needs. Ive used both sized balls and several of the different heights. Great product!
Good hitch at a great price. If this matches your weight rating and height requirements, I’m not sure why you’d need to spend more. My only suggestion/complaint is that there is only one pin hole and the hitch can’t be slid out, like some other hitches. This means my tailgate hits some trailer jacks, but that’s not really the hitches fault.
Very happy with the strength of this drop hitch. I've owned it a year and hauled a lot of miles on it.

Still very happy.
Very SOLID, well built ball mount. Rare and hard to find low drop.
By far the best hitch I've had installed in my bumper. This works great since my super duty is lifted. It keeps my trailer riding more level. Built a lot stronger than the tube type adjustable hitches you see out there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a large truck that's lifted.
It was just as described, arrived a day sooner than expected and is a top of the line product for that price range. Well built with a nice finish. Plan on towing an RV and a car trailer. Cannot find a 2.5" receiver esp. with a 10" drop in stock anywhere in Las Vegas. E trailer had it. Will continue shopping here.

Holding up well.

Sturdy, adjustable and free shipping. Should have bought this much earlier.
So far a very nice hitch, very heavy duty and heavy. Fits snug in the Ram 2.5” receiver, I only wish the two pins were locking pins. Excellent delivery.

Only issue is paint is fading bad. Other than that no issues.
This thing is STOUT! Nicely finished and definitely happy with this purchase. Now just need a locking pin so this thing doesn’t end up on someone else’s truck
extremely easy to use . can switch between the trailer ball without having to switch hitches on my truck. I would highly suggest this for people with different trailers .
