The B&W Tow & Stow adjustable ball mount lets you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights. Having a 1-7/8" ball, a 2" ball and a 2-5/16" ball allows for even more versatility, making this the ultimate go-to ball mount if you own multiple trailers.
To switch the hitch ball, simply remove the pin holding the balls in place and rotate the entire block that the balls are mounted on until the ball you want to use is on top. Then replace the pin to secure the block in place.
Adjusting the height of the ball is just as easy. Remove the pins holding the ball mount platform in place and slide the platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Once you have found the correct height, reinsert the pins and replace the clips.
When you're not towing, you can flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang your shins. Just remove the pins to slide the ball platform down along the channel and up the back side so that the hitch balls face towards your vehicle. Then replace the pins.
The Tow & Stow ball mount features a channel that runs along both sides of the shank. This channel not only allows you to slide the ball mount platform up and down to adjust the ball height, but it also prevents removal of the platform when the ball mount is installed, which will help prevent theft of your trailer.
A slot is cut into the adjustment channel near the top of the shank. To remove the ball mount platform from the shank you will need to remove the entire ball mount from your hitch. Then remove the pins that hold the platform in place. Flip the platform around to the stowed position on the rear of the shank, and then slide it up until the center pin lines up with the slot in the shank. Pull the platform out towards the rear of the shank until the pin pops out of the adjustment channel.
When the Tow & Stow is secured in your hitch receiver, you will not be able to remove the ball mount platform. This is because the slot in the shank is positioned in such a way that the collar on your hitch will block the pin on the platform from being able to leave the channel. Even if the pins holding the ball mount platform in place are removed, the platform will still be confined to this channel. So, as long as a hitch lock is used to secure the entire ball mount in your hitch receiver, and a coupler lock is used to prevent your trailer's coupler from being disengaged from the ball, your trailer will be secure.

I put it on, it stows really nice under the hitch the balls are really convenient and it's build is sturdy.
This is a well built piece. It is sturdy and well designed. I have two trailers with different size balls and this mount makes it a whole lot easier to tow them without changing vehicles
Excellent hitch , easy to switch to different size balls , simple to stow , 2022 super duty tremor sits 2 inches higher than regular f250 , so went with 9inch drop , perfect hitch for the tremor

Wow, how I love this hitch. Every ball I need with a twist. And with the 9" drop my trailer is parallel to the ground again. The stow feature is great or I can leave the flat side up and use it as a step to get into the bed.

I recently purchased a 2019 Ford F-250 with a 2 1/2 insert hitch, but before I ordered the 2 1/2 inch insert I ordered the 3” model. Then after it was on its way a friend said “ uh you need a 2 1/2 not a 3”” so as soon as the 3” was delivered by UPS I had the driver return it. Then I contacted Etrailer which was happy to reimburse the amount. In 3 short days wala the 2 1/2 9 inch drop adjustable was delivered it took about 3 - 5 minutes to set it up and on the booklet that came with it gave a little history about the owners of etrailer they are proud Americans and are proud to build their products in the Good Ole U.S. A. As I am too. Sure they could piece it out to Mexico or f*#king China, but a true Amercian knows we can build it better here and the price paid goes into our on country. Okay enough politics. By the way my heart goes out to the lady senator from Ind. that was tragically killed in a car accident a couple of weeks back. Folks if your looking for a precision made hitch insert built like a tank please consider etrailer for your needs, customer service are super courteous and friendly, you’ll be glad you did.
I sent it back due to the damage which occurred during shipping, did not come in the original box from Mfg. but in a box from etrailer looking like it dragged behind a truck.

Excellent
After a full year of pulling with this hitch, I can confidently say it has been the best hitch I’ve owned. Would absolutely recommend, the versatility of the three ball mount is a great feature. Strong and durable giving all the confidence for whatever you may be pulling.
I received my order yesterday,I was surprised how quick it came.only 4 days,no problems,no damage.item was correct as ordered.i will definitely use etrailer again.
The B&W Tow & Stow hitches are awesome. This is my third one. I'll never go back to the other brands. The ease of switching between ball sizes and the ability to raise and lower the ball without having to change hitches makes life so much easier while on the job. And the quality of the hitch is second to none.

Great hitch! For the money wish they would include locking pins with it, although if locked to truck the head cant be removed but doesnt mean domebody cant take the pins and leave the head dangling there. Only fault i see
