Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the CargoSmart weld-on forged D-ring tie-down anchor. It has a 15,000 pound working load limit. Now this forged D-ring will provide additional holding power when you're securing cargo to your walls and floor of your trailer or the bed of your truck. It is a heavy-duty steel construction. It is a weld-on installation, and it's for a quantity of one.Now the anchor point diameter is going to be one inch, the horizontal inside dimension of the ring, put a ruler on it, it's going to be right at three inches, and the vertical inside dimension is going to be right at four inches. The safe working load limit on this is 15,000 pounds.
Maximum load or break strength is 45,000 pounds.Now one note I do want to mention on tie-down anchors, they must be chosen according to the safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the anchors being used.
