Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a forged D-ring with a weld-on mounting bracket. This unit allows you to secure a load with confidence using the 3/4" forged D-ring. The D-ring includes the weld-on mounting bracket. Both components are made from durable steel construction with plain finishing.Now, D-rings are not approved for overhead use, so please keep that in mind. This one features the maximum load or brake strength of 26,500 pounds, with a safe working load limit of 9,120 pounds. The ring diameter is 3/4 of an inch.
Then when it comes to the inner dimensions, so edge to edge, inside edge to inside edge, it gives us about three inches of workable space. Going this direction, it's also going to measure pretty close to three inches, not taking into consideration what the bracket takes up there. About three inches by three inches.Exterior dimensions, so edge to edge going this direction, it's about 4-1/2. It should be the same going this direction as well, about 4-1/2". Now the bracket measures about 2-1/4 going this direction, by 1-5/8.
Then when it comes to the overall height of the bracket, we can see that that measures about an inch and a quarter tall. Again it's made from durable steel and the product is made in the USA.That's going to do it for today's look at the forged D-ring, with the weld-on mounting bracket.

Appears to be what was ordered. Packaging leaves little to be desired. etrailer has taken a step backwards in the last year. Strongly considering finding another provider. Product specialist are no longer knowledgeable in the areas of product information.
