While on the road, it is very important to regularly maintain your tires and make sure they're inflated correctly. If your tires are underinflated or overinflated, they'll develop irregular tread wear and become prone to overheating and blowing out. The iN-Command TPMS helps protect your investment and keep your family safe by monitoring your tires and alerting you of any signs of danger before disaster strikes.

Configuring the iN-Command TPMS App

iN-Command TPMS App Configuration

The iN-Command TPMS app is free to download and use. For Apple smartphones, it's compatible with models iPhone 6S and newer; for Android smartphones, it's compatible with models Android 8.0 and newer. Once the app has been successfully downloaded, select your vehicle, RV, or trailer configuration and the locations of the tires you want to monitor. The tire locations can be changed at any point, even after the sensors have been installed and paired. And with the purchase of additional sensors (sold separately), this app lets you monitor up to 22 tires, which is perfect for a fleet.

2 Waterproof Sensors with Bluetooth

iN-Command TPMS Waterproof Sensors

This TPMS includes 2 sensors that let you individually monitor each tire on your application for changes in pressure and temperature. These durable sensors are waterproof, which means that they can be used on boat trailers and other marine applications.

Using Bluetooth, the sensors will then send that information directly to the iN-Command TPMS app on your smartphone. The sensors will also check the strength of the Bluetooth signal as well as the status of the batteries.

3 Sensor Pairing Methods

iN-Command TPMS 3 Sensor Pairing Methods

There are 3 easy methods for pairing the sensors to the app on your smartphone: deflation, manual, and QR code.

iN-Command TPMS Deflation Method

For the deflation method, first install the sensors onto the valve stems. Then select one of the tires in the app before slightly deflating it on your vehicle. The air pressure from the tire will activate the sensor, and then the sensor ID number will appear on the app. Once the numbers have appeared for all sensors, re-inflate your tires.

iN-Command TPMS Manual Method

For the manual method, first select the tire that the sensor is going on in the app. Then manually enter the ID number, which can be found on top of the sensor.

iN-Command TPMS QR Method

For the QR code method, first select the tire that the sensor is going on in the app. This will automatically activate the camera on your smartphone, which should be aimed at the top of the sensor. A red perimeter box will then come up and scan the QR barcode, causing the sensor ID number to appear on the app.

Smartphone App Settings

The app on your smartphone will provide you with visual and audible cues to warn you of dangerous changes in tire pressure and tire temperature, as well as alert you of changes with the sensor battery and sensor signal.

iN-Command TPMS App Settings

The app allows you to choose from multiple audible alarm tones, depending on your preference. You're also able to set the minimum and maximum tire pressure anywhere from 0 psi and 217 psi, as well as set the temperature as low as 100 F (38 C) to as high as 257 F (125 C). You should set the tire pressure and temperature settings based on the recommendations of your vehicle or tire manufacturer. Once these settings have been chosen, you will be alerted when the pressure or temperature falls outside of those perimeters. You can change these settings at any time.

The app also stores the history of your tires' air pressure and temperature. This allows you to look for patterns and determine if there are any extensive problems with one of your tires.

Easy Installation

iN-Command TPMS Easy Installation

The sensors are easy to assemble and install. This TPMS includes 2 locknuts, 2 lithium batteries, 2 anti-theft attachments, and a wrench. Use the wrench to remove the sensor covers and then insert the batteries. Once the covers have been re-installed, fasten the anti-theft attachments to the bottoms. Remove the cap of your valve stems, thread the locknuts onto the valve stems, and install the sensors. Then secure the locknuts against the sensors with the wrench. These sensors will work with most types of valve stems, but it is recommended for you to use them with metal valve stems or T-Valve stems. The sensors are slightly more effective when used with these types of valve stems.

  • Recommended Wiring, Brake Controller, and WDH for 2016 Kia Sorento Towing 2022 Coleman Lantern 17B
Lets start with what you need to add to your 2016 Kia Sorento. I have two options for adding a 7-way to your vehicle. If you want a plug and play installation, we have the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK24FR. This would replace your existing 4-way. The other option is to use the # ETBC7. This comes with an adapter, the additional wiring that runs from the battery like you mentioned and everything else you need to upgrade from a 4-way to a 7-way. The adapter that comes...

  • How Much Range Do The iN-Command Tire Sensors Have Without The Repeater
I reached out to the manufacturer, ASA Electronics, and they stated they didn't have an exact range determined without the repeater and that you should always use repeater included with the # NCTP100 for trailer use. If you were just installing the # NCTP1002 on your vehicle then you would be fine without the repeater.

  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System for Use With iN-Command Model JRVCS1CM
The JRVCS1CM iN-Command system you have is compatible with TPMS systems but the # NCTP1002 is only the tire pressure monitor sensors and are designed to work as an add on to the iN-Command RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System # NCTP100. In order to have a complete tire pressure monitoring system that works with your JRVCS1CM you would first need to add the # NCTP100 which includes the signal repeater that sends the TPMS system signal to the iN-Command system. The # NCTP100 comes with 4...

  • Difference Between In-Command TPMS # NCTP1002 and # NCTP100
For a smaller, single axle travel trailer, the # NCTP1002 iN-Command system would work perfectly. The kit provides 2 sensors and would use your smart phone as the control module. The # NCTP100 provide a repeater and 4 sensors, and would be a better choice for a longer tandem axle travel trailer. The only difference between the two is the # NCTP100 provide a signal repeater to amplify the bluetooth signal so it has an easier time reaching the phone and 2 additional sensors. I've linked...

  • Are The iN-Command Sensors Compatible With a 2023 Chevrolet 3500?
the iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles # NCTP100 will only pair to the iN-Command system. You will not be able to pair your tire sensors for your 2023 Chevrolet 3500 to the system, or pair the iN-Command tire sensors to your factory system on your Chevrolet. You will need to add additional Sensors # NCTP1002 to your Chevrolet to have them monitored by your iN-Command system. Or you will need to get the factory sensors from a GM dealer to pair the trailer tires with the Chevrolet...

  • Will the TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers Work On Class C Motorhome with Overhang
The TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers part # TPMS-TRL-2 requires direct sunlight to power the monitor. Therefore, if the monitor is installed under the loft on a class c motorhome it may not get enough sunlight. Instead, I recommend the iN-Command TPMS part # NCTP1002 which send data to a mobile device of your choosing. The TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers may still work you would just need to find a spot that gets direct sunlight.

  • Does iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles # NCTP1002 Need Signal Booster
The iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles # NCTP1002 does not have a signal booster option as it has a large enough range that adding one would not be needed. This would work well for you without requiring anything else.

  • What Is the Range of the iN-Command TPMS and Do I Need the Repeater
The iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles part # NCTP100 is the actual complete kit that comes with all needed components such as the repeater which is required for installation. The iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles part # NCTP1002 is simply an add-on for the above kit if you have more than four tires. I spoke with the manufacturer and they stated the repeater is necessarily for installation no matter the length of the trailer and they do not provide a range without...

  • Will iN-Command TPMS Work for 2022 Keystone Alpine and Ford F-450 Dually
If you already have the iN-Command system on your 2022 Keystone Alpine then you can add the iN-Command TPMS # NCTP100 with 4 sensors as well as the 2 sensor kit # NCTP1002 so you can monitor all 6 tires on your 2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty dually. As long as the valve stems have enough clearance to add the 1" diameter sensors these will fit with your dually tires just fine. When it comes to max length I've seen 75' for the truck and trailer combined but from my understanding this will differ...
