Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
These retractable ratchet straps are an upgrade over standard ratchet straps. To use the straps, begin by pushing the button on the ratchet and pulling out as much strap webbing as needed. Secure the hook to an anchor point, and then ratchet the remaining slack to make sure your gear is held down tight. Because these straps are retractable, there will already be tension on the strap when you begin to ratchet, meaning that you'll spend less time tightening the straps down. When it's time to unload, push the button on the ratchet to release the strap. Then unhook the strap and push the button again to automatically retract the strap back into the housing. This feature also keeps loose ends neatly wound up so they aren't flapping in the wind or getting dirty during your haul.

Great tie downs for daily use.
I've been using the Erickson 10' retractable ratchets on our patented Attachit Straps and our multi-directional Hand Truck 360's for a few years now. We have ordered the ratchets several times and appreciate the prompt service, delivery, and packaging. The Erickson ratchets work well, are less messy--just push the button and the strap retracts. Our customers appreciate the straps also.

I love my Erickson Re-Tractable ratchet straps I got. They are easy to use & I like that there is no extra strap to have to tie off. It takes me about half the time it used to,to strap things to my trailer.
If you don’t need a 25 foot strap and you’re not trying to tie-down an elephant these self-retracting straps are ideal. I use them to secure items inside my RV storage compartments and securing lawn chairs on my rear ladder rack. No more fumbling with extra strap I don’t need or use.
These just did not work out for me holding an ATV down on a trailer. The releases are very difficult to press. They stretch or compress under pressure. One of them snapped after only 3 uses. I cannot recommend these. The retractor feature is nice, but they just don't last or work as I had hoped. I can't use them any more.
As always, the order arrived on time, and packaged well. Although, the handy
carrying case for the straps was damaged, “by the shipper I believe”, in transit, as
the box was crushed in one corner. But as always, I am absolutely satisfied with
etrailer, and will always be my first source for any track, or trailer needs.
Shipping was fast. I could track my order in detail after it was placed. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. It's nice that they even come with a case for storage. The ratchet straps look like they are of excellent quality. I'm very happy I purchased them through etrailer. com. I will most likely be a return customer to them for other products.

These are replacing standard straps, friend has these same retractables and they work really well and easy to use.

So much faster and more convenient, and no loose ends to deal with.
Of the 8 straps I purchased only one broke in the last 12 months. I use these 3-4 days a week. The retraction spring is starting to get week but still does a good enough job. Overall very satisfied with these straps!
Very nice straps that appear sturdy and the self retracting is what got me to buy them. I'll use them to strap my motorcycle down when i haul it and the self retracting will keep it less cluttered when it's unloaded.
It is by far the best ratchet strap I have ever owned! I threw all my other straps in the trash.

You can't beat retractable tiedowns. No extra strap flying in the air and so much more convenient and faster.

I have bought 4 more sets and have friends who have also bought these!!
Honestly I dont like ratchet straps but So far I really like these ratchet straps.
I just received these and impressed with how they work. Much easier than my old ratchet straps and no loose end to contend with. If they prove to be durable I would give them 5 stars. The carrying case seems flimsy but not sure how long I will use it.
I've been using these for about 10 years and finally had to
replace them. Not because they broke or stopped working, the
straps became frayed to the point I thought they were not safe to use. The new ones look to be as good if not better than the first ones I've been using. Great product and I really like not having to deal with the loose end flapping in the wind.
I like the racket straps, they work great. Great thing to buy, they came fast,thank you.

They are still working great. I would recommend them to anyone that dont like tying off exes strape.
