Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Valterra battery box cone vent and louvered cover. This cone vent directs battery box fumes outside of the RV for increased safety. Mounting hardware is not included. When it comes to the dimensions of the bit, it's a square design so that's gonna measure 4-1/4" by 4-1/4". These mount holes, they're separated on center by 3-1/4" going up and across, 3-1/4" by 3-1/4". The diameter of this hole right here is gonna be about 2-5/8", inner diameter back here 1-9/16", outer diameter, 1-3/4".
So that's gonna let us know that this cone will accommodate a 1-3/4" inner diameter hose. The unit's made from a durable plastic construction. The cover itself is black in color and the cone portion is white in color. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Valterra battery box cone vent and louvered cover.

- What Would be Needed to Relocate RV Battery from Tongue of Trailer to Inside RVMoving the battery to the inside of the camper will get your tongue weight lower like you are wanting but it does require venting the battery box whether it's connected or not. You normally have to build an enclosure where you want it but we do have vent setups specifically for this with the Valterra Battery Box Cone Vent and Louvered Cover # A10-3300BK-05.
