Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Valterra replacement vent cover. This is going to replace the vent cover for your Valterra Battery Box Vent. This is going to be a direct replacement from Valterra for the vent cover that you see on the screen there for that part number. So if you do have that battery box vent, this is gonna be exactly what you need. This is going to attach to the battery box vent to direct the fumes and odors outside the RV.
It's got the louvered openings here that are going to allow the fumes to escape, while keeping the rain and debris from entering. This is a white color. As you can see, we do have a black version that's exactly the same, just black. Give you a few overall dimensions here. You can see this is right at 4 1/4" wide by 4 1/4" tall.
Our mounting holes are spaced center to center right about 3 1/4". So if you are needing to replace that vent cover, this is gonna be exactly what you need. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Just fit the holes of the old, broken ones I took off.
Low cost vent is good for interior applications in locations where impact is unlikely. I used one to ventilate ceiling space between panels in an RV. I installed one in a small sailboat locker and broke it a few days later. Not very durable and I suspect that sunlight would quickly degrade the plastic. For RV exterior I have found the stainless steel round vents to be much better.
exact replacement for broken covers
The old vent covers were broken and deteriorated. The new one are an exact replacement. They were easy to install and look as good or better than the original ones did when they were new.
Recently purchased a used 2002 Carri-Go by Dynamax, although in really great shape with few miles(33,000), as is common with used RVs, there were a few items that needed replacing....this cover for the battery exhaust was one of them...well being Newbies at the game of RVing....I had no idea of what I was even looking for, but when I hit upon etrailer.com and put in "outside vents" up pops exactly what I needed, after exhausting all other avenues at other sites. Placed order, could tract and arrived well packaged ready to install....will definately use etrailer.com again....thanks!!!
These vent covers were exactly what I needed. The old covers were cracked and discolored. The new covers helped spiff up the outside of our fifth wheel. The hardest part was removing the old covers and putty. Once I had it all cleaned up I screwed the new parts in place and re-caulked the edges. Wow what a change.

Its been a year and the vent cover works great. Good buy.
Product is fine but shipping a tiny plastic item shouldn't cost $X making 20 cents worth of plastic $X

swell product, order spare at this price
Again, this product was no where to found on other sites. The description of the
product made it so very easy to see that it was an exact replacement for the damaged unit. Again this will be my goto place for RV replacement parts!
My old vent was starting to crack at the corners. This was a perfect fit for my old one. I just painted the new one to match my trailer then removed the broken one and screwed the new one in place. Easy fix!
tried to purchase at local dealer was told that vents were mfg. specific. found your company on line,happy you had what I needed at reasonable price.Timely delivery and product was exact match even the screw holes were the same. Will definitely be using your company again when needed!
