The cut-out diameter is the width of the circle needed to ensure the speaker mounts flush to the wall or ceiling.
The mounting depth is the depth needed behind the mounting surface for the speaker's frame and magnet structure to fit.

The speaker grill on my 2019 Jayco fell off while traveling. I couldn’t find just the grill so I bought a new speaker and then super glued it to the speaker so it can’t come off again.

Great!
No issues , original furion speaker had a woofer that was broken, replaced it , sounds great !( was a speaker on my Jayco travel trailer)
Well after a year the speaker was sounding great but this last camping trip the center chrome colored cone fell off and is wedged between the bottom of the grill. Vibrates and sounds horrible. I believe I can go in there and take it out and the speaker will work fine but this shouldn’t have happened. You get what you pay for I guess
I'm writing this review for etrailer for three main reasons 1 they always have the parts I'm looking for for my trailer 2 the shipping is fast and 3 The Price is Right and no it's not the TV program they're great to deal with and they served me well

The holes in the speakers didn't line up with the holes of my old speakers but did get them to work.
