Jensen RV Stereo DVD Player Dimensional Diagram

Do you have an older malfunctioning stereo you want to replace so you can get back to rocking out in your rig? This 2-zone, durable stereo provides crystal-clear audio in and around your RV or camper whether you're streaming music from your smartphone or listening to your favorite radio station.

2 Zones Use Bluetooth to Stream Audio

This stereo has 2 zones that can be connected to up to 4 speakers (sold separately). You can either play your preferred radio stations or you can connect your smartphone to Bluetooth so you can stream all your favorite songs on the fly.

Multiple Connection Points Hook Up External Devices

Jensen RV Stereo DVD Player Connection Points

This stereo has multiple connection points to hook up external devices so you can have enhanced sound quality in your RV. You can use the pass-through HDMI port to hook up your TV for family movie night. Or at the end of a long day at the campsite, you can use the USB port to charge your smartphone.

Stereo Settings are Easily Adjustable

Jensen RV Stereo Remote Control

You can use the included wireless remote control or buttons on the front of the stereo to adjust the stereo's settings. You'll be able to tweak audio settings such as bass, treble, balance, and volume to set the mood whether you're throwing a large patio party with friends or sharing a quiet, romantic dinner with your spouse. And if you need to get gas and you're halfway through listening to your favorite song, the playback mode lets you save that stopping point when you turn the power off. Then when you turn the stereo back on, the song will continue playing as if it was never paused, preventing you from having to restart the song.

Tuner Stores Multiple Stations for Quick Access

For when you're on the go and are running behind your vacation schedule, you can save some time by using the digital AM/FM tuner, which has programmable presets so you can quickly and conveniently access previously saved stations. If you want to be able to get to your favorite stations with the push of a button, you can save them using the 6 numbered preset buttons along the bottom of the stereo. And if you're on the road and your favorite stations at home are fading out, you can easily scan through up to 12 AM stations and 30 FM stations from surrounding areas.

Recessed Installation into Your RV's Dashboard

Jensen RV Stereo Installation

Very basic. Overall it's ok, the sound is decent and it has most of the desired options. Extremely limited eq.
However the biggest complaint is the remote. It has tons of functions that aren't needed, essentially an older style dvd player remote, and none of the controls I would actually use, like Zone control(activating A or B), direct source selection(instead of cycling through them). A dim button would be nice. Sometimes the up button goes up, sometimes it goes down depending on what setting you're adjusting. The remote has 44 buttons and only 5 are useful. Obviously a cheap generic remote that was slapped to this unit. This is a big deal as most RV stereos are placed in a less than convenient place to reach so a quality remote makes or breaks the usability.

Overall it works, is small, has HDMI (no Arc functionality), and has an RCA input and output.

by:

Works well and looks nice. Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy. The unit is smaller than what I was replacing so I made a simple rectangular faceplate of plywood, which I painted black. The sound is fine, very clear and plenty loud for our small RV.

by:

Ordered this Jensen unit as a direct replacement for a Furrion DV7200 that failed after 2 years.

This unit fits the hole exactly, has all the same features as the Furrion,AND a better remote! The install was easy, even though I soldered and used shrink tubing on all the wire connection which took some time.

Everything was well labeled, and the install was pretty much self explanatory, the sound is great, the remote is 200% better, and it fit the same hole; on top of that, eTrailer's service was excellent!

What's not to like?

Now let's hope it lasts years, not months.

by:

A worthy replacement for the factory radio in our 2021 5th wheel. It is somewhat smaller than the IRV Technologies unit it replaced, so experimentation was required to get it installed in the larger opening, which was ultimately solved by taking scrap wood, cutting two pieces of approximately 4"x1.75"x0.5" and attaching them to each side of the Jensen using the holes for the mounting screws; the unit then slides into the opening and fits quite snugly, no additional screws required. The screw holes for the old radio are still visible at the edge of the trim ring, but some wood putty and a suitable touch-up pen should take care of that. Wiring work was trivial, the only extra step was labeling the speaker wires in the RV while they were still attached to the IRV unit. Compared with the IRV unit, this Jensen has a superior feature set, sound is vastly improved, ease of use is fantastic, and the clock keeps accurate time(!) Best bang for the buck of any mod done to the RV to date, worth every penny.

by:

Great stereo just what we wanted! Easy to set up and easy to use!

by:

It looks good, installed easily from good instructions, but now only the clock works. Neither the controls on the unit nor the remote control can get it to do anything at all.

It sounds like you need to reset it. Try checking all of your connections in the back as well as physically disconnecting it from power for a good 5 - 10 minutes.

by:

About a year ago I purchased this stereo, it was an easy upgrade to install and has been a good upgrade to my RV.

by:

My Furrion DV7200 stopped working after 14 months i replaced it with this unit and it works better than the Furrion. There is a 8 pin connector on the Furrion and 10 pin connector on the Jensen but cutting and crimping was simple, all wires were labeled on the Forest River Trailer. And it fits perfectly in the same hole.

Still working fine! It replaces my Furrion that came with the new trailer and died after one year.

by:

The service was GREAT, but the stereo itself could be better.
1) It comes on randomly for some reason. I'll go into the RV after several days of it being hooked up to shore power in storage and the radio will be playing.
2) It's nice that I can play songs from USB, but you can't play songs on random within a particular folder; random randomizes ALL songs. So if you want to listen to a randomized rock playlist vs. a randomized classical playlist, you need separate USB flash drives.

All in all, it's OK... and really, the best option for its size.

I reached out to the manufacturer in regards to the radio coming on by itself. The suggestion was to do a reset on the radio. If that doesnt work then it could be an internal wiring issue with the radio or the in the RV itself. The radio does have a 1 year warranty.

by:

No sound from either A or B after 1 year. I will not buy another Jensen again.

by:

I replaced an old, and very large, AM/FM/Cassette/CD/Aux stereo player from my 2004 Komfort trailer with the JWM20. The main motivation, aside from the increasing uselessness of the old stereo, was the desire for Bluetooth connectivity with my phone to stream music.

The JWM20 unit itself is pretty easy to install. In truth, I spent far more time building the mounting board from a piece of red oak than time spent actually installing the JWM20.

My advice is to label all of your existing stereo wires BEFORE you remove any old stereo. My old stereo wiring harness was slightly different than the JWM20 wiring harness. I created labels based on the JWM20 wiring harness, then figured out the proper installed wires to label in the trailer based on the existing connections. Pre-labeling all wires made the swap simple.

The JWM20 Bluetooth connection works like you would expect and the system sounds great. The JWM20 is perfect for my application of upgrading to a modern stereo system for my trailer.

by:

Great replacement for the previous stereo. Easy to install. Fit the existing opening perfectly.

by:

This re[laced a competing model that only lasted 3 months. I had to make a walnut mounting plate to modify the existing hole - look great. There are a lot of features packed into this little unit. Controls are intuitive. My only complaint is that I cannot control the volumes of the inside and outside speakers to my satisfaction. It could be that the speakers have a different impedance. Oh well, I am happy.

by:

Real easy to install. I think it took me about 10 minutes. It sounds so much better than my old unit.

by:

We have an 2008 surveyor camper and was able to replace old radio with this one . Our opening was bigger but making a new cover and then mounting this one was easy. Sounds really good

by:

I would rate this transaction good. The product was excellent, small compact but powerful. Installation was very easy and wiring is well marked and straight forward. Whoever the seller does not have the product and orders it from the factory which creates a long wait.

by:

I purchased this Jensen amp for my RV to use my iphone to play music and provide sterio for sat tv. I chose it for its small size and its capability to wireless and HDMI inputs and outputs. And the Jensen history for quality.

by:

I was very impressed with the ease of putting the unit in took less than 15 minutes. Great sound and easy controls. Highly recommend this product to anyone. The original stereo the remote worked only if you were an inch from the stereo the dealer said it’s a FURRION and they are not very good, well I’m more than pleased with your product thanks

by:

I've been a commercial audio video pro for over 20 years. So you can believe me when I tell you this product was a wonderful upgrade to the old Jensen that was in my Layton RV trailer.

by:

We replaced the Furrion radio in our RV with this...super easy to install and the sound quality is top notch. Super happy with this purchase.

by:

very nice little stereo i have it hooked up to some nice jvc speakers and it sounds great couldnt be happier thank you

by:

The head unit works great and same with the speakers. They both exceeded my expectations.

by:

It was easy enough for a color blind fat man to install in 20 minutes. That included the 5 minute walk to get the instructions. The radio works well, and great instructions to blue tooth to a phone that I could follow. Should be great for a long time.

by:

Has been great and works good. Love the bluetooth capabilities.

by:

i ordered this radio to replace my original Furrion radio that quit on me first time out, this radio wired right up and fit like a glove, etrailer got this to me in 2 days as promised, really great folks to do business with 5 star company
