Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to take a quick look at the Jensen Marine Speaker. This has a recessed design and it is a dual cone speaker so it gives you that tweeter and subwoofer cone in one to kind of limit the amount of space this takes up, but it still should give you a pretty good performance. It is rated again for Marine use so that means that the components should last up to use out on the water, even if that's salt water, out in the sun. The salt, it tends to corrode these pretty quickly, but since this is rated for that, you should have a much longer life out of this speaker than you would from something that's more of an automotive grade. So let's take a closer look, make sure that this is the right fit for you if you're trying to replace an existing speaker.This has a six-inch diameter that's going from the outside edge to outside edge.

Just to put a ruler on it for you. You can see that there. The interior or the cutout is about four and three eighths inches, or just under four and a half inches as far as the space from here to here. The depth of our speaker is about an inch and a half. Then, we do have four mounting holes.

The space between those center to center is about three and three quarter inches. And that's going to be the same . or excuse me . yeah, but it's going to be the same no matter which way we're looking at it. There should be a square hole there.The max wattage with this is 30 Watts, and you can see all the other specs listed out on our product page here at etrailer.com.

So if you really want to get into the nitty-gritty of the sensitivity and impedance and all that, that's all listed out there. It is just a simple bolt-on installation for this although the hardware is not included so you will have to pick up some screws on your own to get this mounted. It's a two-wire design to get that hooked up to power and ground.That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Jensen Marine speaker.
