Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Rubber Top Lip Wiper Seal for RV slide outs. If you are needing to replace your old or worn out wiper seal on the flanges surrounding your RV slide out, this might be just what you need. This RV slide out seal stops water and pests from getting into your living area. And the flexible metal core helps the wiper keep a good grip.
This is gonna be an easy installation. You're just going to push this seal into the existing railing for weather stripping. And let me just pull out my ruler here real quick. This is going to fit 1/4 of an inch thick pinch weld flange. And a tucking tool is recommended to ease the insulation, and that tool is sold separately.
And then you're just gonna use scissors to trim the extra seal that you do not need. And this is made in the USA of EPDM dense rubber that won't shrink, crack, or fade over time. So it feels very durable, and I think it's gonna be very long lasting. And it is also resistant to UV damage. Now, what I have here is 30 feet long, and the overall width, we are sitting right at 2 1/2 inches wide.
And then the width of just the wiper itself, we are sitting right at two inches. And as I mentioned, this is gonna fit 1/4 of an inch thick pinch weld flange. And if 30 feet is too much for you and you don't need this much, we do also carry this in 15 feet. And I am putting our item number to that 15 foot version of this on your screen. Just pop that item number into the search field on our website, and that will take you to the 15 foot option.
Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

I bought these wiper seals for my cedar creek fifth wheel. After installation I tried to slide my slides in and they tried to cock from one done to the other and did not come in smoothly or completely. These are made out of a different type of rubber that is very stiff so they don’t fold into the slide while moving slide in. I am out the price of a 30’ roll and cannot return because I used part of it. Beware of Steele wiper seals
Perfect fit! As usual, E-trailer had what I needed at a good price, very fast shipping!!! Reason why I buy all my trailer parts from them, makes it easy to keep my customers happy.
Hi, George: The rubber seal for my slide-out that you ordered for me worked-out just fine giving the slide-out a tight seal to keep rain out. Thanks, again, for such good customer service & even checking back after a year to see if I was satisfied.
Wiper seal was a good product but did not work on my slide. The seal was too thick and would not fold under when retracting my slide. I had to discard it and go another direction
I used the wiper seal for the horizontal seal (top) on my slide out that is 13 ft long on my cedar creek fifth wheel.
The rubber is so stiff it won’t flex and move properly when the slide is brought in. It is supposed to fold into the slide when the room is brought in for travel and prevents the slide from tiltin in at the top. Because I installed this seal I cannot get my money back. Not very happy.
You sent us 2 seals were wrong but it was our fault. Then we just got the correct seal today and postal delivery was 14 days. Your accepting the wrong parts and returns went well. Now with warm weather we can proceed with the fix. Thanks for your help.
it
Very good seal, has not deformed or tore over the last year. The seal also stays stuck in place.
Thank you so much for helping me get the right stuff
Easy to work with
The seal was easy to install and worked great.
Exellent produit et service
As expected
Worked great. Easy to install.
After one year, still good to go. etrailer is the Best!!!
Good wiper I liked the heavier bottom, I wish it would be tracked for a D bulb but I don’t see any 4+” wipers with D bulb tracks
I wasn't sure this product would work for me because it wasn't the exact size that I needed but knew I could trim it to the proper size. I got it to replace the weather seals on our travel trailer slide out. The new weather seals were much heavier duty than the originals. You must make sure the residue from the adhesive on original seals is completely removed and the area cleaned with alcohol. looks good and they work as intended. Very pleased with the results. These will last for the rest of the life of the trailer.
Great product. Will install tomorrow in the morning, in the Shade!! Quick shipping.
Easy install , like new again .
Purchased this item and SR79FR Bulb Seal for my 2011 Outdoors RV Wind River 2702BS. These items were a perfect match to the original and pretty easy to install. The bulb seal was a little more difficult than the wiper seal. Helpful hint clean out the rail that the bulb seal slides or pops into. I was surprised at the amount of dirt and build up inside the track. I used a little white grease in the track and it made popping the bulb seal in much easy. The wiper seal just clips over the metal flange. I used a rubber mallet and small block of wood to make sure the c-clip sealed on the flange. A great product from Steele Rubber Products and great service and price from Etrailer.
These were a great replacement for the rubber seals that were worn on our RV slide out. They were easy to install and fit great.
The rubber is of a good quality it hasn't started to shed black when you rub against it or leave black streaks on my unit, the only problem I have had in the stick on tape isn't of a long lasting material and starts to release after about 4 months so we removed the seal and used a automotive weather strip adhesive and so far it's been working well.
Same service as always.Great.The slide seals were easy to install and replaced the worn seals.Allison was also great help.
The website/catalog was extremely useful. The description and dimensions tool is superb! While trying to order this seal from other sites (my apologies to e-trailer for not coming here first) , I found the descriptions we’re useless and often contradicting. Even at [online vendor]! Reviews at other sites very often stated they received the wrong seal so that scared me off. Ordered from trailer, received it 2 days earlier than they projected and it’s the correct seal. I,ve found my spot for trailer and Rv parts!!
