Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 15-foot-long stick-on one-piece Baldwin wiper seal for the RV slide-out. I wanted to zoom in to give you a closeup to show you what the seal looks like. This is a one-piece Baldwin wiper seal, which is used to prevent water from leaking into the slide-out on your RV. The wiper seal flexes in or out, depending upon how the slide is moving. And the bald portion right here is what'll seal against the RV when the slide-out is closed.
It is a universal design that can replace almost any slide-out seal configuration. This type is commonly found on the current Forester fifth wheels, and it is ideal for the 2013 Itasca Meridian motor homes. A flexible wiper, has a hinge section. And it has the adhesive back here that allows the seal to be used on right angles, different wall thicknesses, and even on thin lips. The rubber is highly wear and weather-resistant, protects your RV from extreme weather and the pests.
And as we've mentioned, if you look on the bottom, it is a peel-and-stick installation. Has this pre-applied 3M adhesive backing. You just simply peel off the backing paper and then apply the seal to the RV frame surrounding the slide-out. Dimensions on this, we mentioned the length is a total of 15 feet. The total width on this from one side to the other is three and three-sixteenths inches wide.
