Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this D-shaped bulb seal. This is a hollow rubber seal that's going to adhere to the frame surrounding your RV's slide out or your toy hauler's ramp gate edge. This will provide a nice firm seal when you close up that gate or your slide out to make sure that no water or pests are gonna be able to get in there. This is right about 7/8 of an inch wide by approximately 1 inch tall. And you are going to get 15 feet of this seal here.
So it should be a great option for most of your slide outs and toy haulers. You do wanna make sure that that 15 feet is gonna be enough to wrap around, but it should work specifically for StarCraft Aruba and Mobile Suite luxury 5th wheels, to make sure that those pests and any water is gonna stay out of your toy hauler or slide out on your RV. This does have a ribbed texture to it, so it's gonna provide a nice option there, extra layers to help seal, keep that gap from forming. This is a black EPDM rubber that's going to resist shrinking and cracking and fading over time. So it's gonna hold up really well for you for a long time to come.
It is designed for repeated use and heavier-pressure loads. So even if I squeeze this hard as I can, it's still gonna pop right back out to that D shape. So it's going to last a nice long time and provide plenty of support for you. This is also resistant to UV and ozone exposure, so again, it's gonna hold up really well for a long time to come. It's very easy to get installed.
You just peel back this backing here to reveal that 3M adhesive strip, just put that right against the frame of your RV or toy hauler and surround your slide out or ramp, the edge, and it will stay in place, have a nice firm adherence to your RV or toy hauler. After one year, still good to go. etrailer is the Best!!!
This rubber seal was more "foamy" than I expected. My old one was solid rubber, however, it did work just fine. It installed easily and fit as expected. etrailer has always been quick with deliveries and helpful information. I go to their site when all I need is information sometimes. Love it~
